This campsite is beside a lovely glen which has Riverside walks. The site itself is council run and has no one there at night. There's a large gate at the entrance which campers are surpose to lock after they open it, but don't always do. There's a side entrance to the glen that has no gate, so there's nothing stopping other people walking in. The site is all hard standing other water and electric hookup at every pitch. It hold about 26 caravans and has free WiFi (unlocked). The showers are also free. The time I was there, there was only myself and two other girls who where staying in a tent, and they never locked the gate when they left.

I always love going here for a walk with the kids or the dog.  It's about a 1 hr round walk if you go the whole way to the end and back down the other side.  If you want an easy walk go down the path on the right and come back the same side as the left hand side has more inclines which are harder with a pram.
