Since 1960, Clapham North has been offering comprehensive MOT testing and servicing facilities for most types of vehicle including motorcycles. We have brought together a unique team of experienced professional technicians.

Story

Clapham North was established in 1960 by the truly original Ronnie Grant.

Clapham North was not only at the heart of Ronnie's London Cab business but also the head quarters of his own racing team where he brought together two of most famous motorsport personalities; John Barnard and Patrick Head.

Ronnie started racing in 1966 and in 1970 he won the final round of the Formula Vee British Championship. With Patrick Head developing and testing the engines at Clapham North and John Barnard refining and modifying the chassis of Ronnies' Lola racing car

Over the years this racing heritage has ensured that the Clapham North team can apply both expertise and superior technical knowledge to the maintenance and repair of your car.

First time visit for my MOT. As a young woman it can be quite intimidating to go on your own to garages but Clapham North MOT were welcoming and sorted my car with no problems. Will definitely go back! Thank you
I've just had my MOT and full service done here over the last 2 weeks. Customer service was top tier over the phone and in person. Everyone I Interacted with was super helpful. They are honest and will give you a proper service. I've been ripped off by other garages before so I highly recommend these guys. Ill be returning annually to this garage.
Super garage! Been using Clapham North MOT for the past 3 years and service is excellent every time. Best garage I’ve used! As a young woman it can be daunting managing car maintenance and taking it to a garage where you may feel out of your depth, but the team are very approachable, trust worthy, honest and extremely genuine. I’ve always managed to get a slot at a time I need it for MOT & services, and I could immediately bring it in and get a flat tyre sorted which was an instant weight off my mind. Thank you - I would 100% recommend!
Outstanding service - lovely guys, excellent knowledge and technical skills, honest and trustworthy - can't say that about many service providers and vs. other mechanics and garages, no one else comes close. Had MOT done a while back, returned for full service yesterday - brilliant on both occasions. Can't recommend Clapham North MOT enough.
Trustworthy, honest, friendly, efficient and fairly priced services. I started coming to this garage when I moved from Surrey to Clapham a couple of years ago and have always had great experiences. Most recently, I had my car break down & had to be towed early evening from Surrey to Clapham. AA left my keys with the team that evening and despite being completely booked up and having my car land on their doorstep without warning, they took the time to check it out as fast as they could and they found / sorted the issue immediately. No stupid unnecessary costs incurred, just honest, trustworthy work carried out, informing me on everything before going ahead. I can’t thank the team enough, especially Ashley who went out of his way to accommodate. I feel like even when I eventually leave London, this will be my ‘go to’ trusted garage, I’ve definitely not had this level of ease, confidence or support elsewhere!
I have been a customer with Clapham North MOT for three years. The first appointment I had was for both MOT and service--damage to my bike during shipping. They got me in on short notice and got me back on the road in no time. Great customer service too!
Excellent service, always friendly, and helpful, all hard working mechanic’s do a brilliant job. I highly recommend everyone visit this establishment, they always update you on repairs needed, and cost’s . I and my family members have been going here for many years, the best Garage in Clapham North.
Excellent as always. They quoted me more than it actually ended up being as they were able to order the parts for cheaper than originally thought. Instead of charging me what they quoted, they charged me less I know many places that would have pocketed the difference! An excellent, trustworthy service, I am very impressed.
Once again my annual service was due on my MTO9Tracer. I received a prompt message from Clapham North MOT and took my bike for another service. Very friendly staff and always professional. As mentioned before, I do not live local to CL MOT , it takes me 1 hour to get there from my home. I pass several MOT Centres but continue to use CL MOT because I am always satisfied with their service. Great service
