Just had my vw golf at Mayday Motors recently, amazing service, very helpful through the phone offering advise and quick and efficient work carried out! Have used these guys for years and always recommend as they are very honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend!
Had a great first experience getting my car’s MOT test done at Mayday Motors. Called up and managed to get an appointment exactly when I needed it. On the day, I dropped my car off and it was ready to go within an hour. Walked with away with an amazing first impression of this garage. Will definitely come back!
Horrible service. Wanted to avoid this garage. Hungerford motors don't do MOT service and give the job to mayday . Which I didn't know as I wanted to avoid them due to poor experience decade ago. Been given a certificate MOT passed but they gave my car back with windscreen damaged , all cracked. Went to see them and all they say is i will call the police on me because im complaining to get my car damaged. I have asked them who collect my car from Hungerford and they have no idea. They left my key on my vehicle. They don't know. Can someone explain how dishonest can that be.
Great garage. After my car overheated on Easter bank holiday, I was recommended by the AA man who recovered us to Mayday Motors. They started work on Tuesday and the car was ready by Friday, which is super fast for the work that had to be done. They contacted me frequently to update me of everything that was happening with the car, and the price was super reasonable too. Also extremely polite and friendly, I will certainly be returning whenever my car needs repairs or servicing.

It is extremely hard to find a quality garage that is genuinely for the driver and not out to do you over. My parents have been using Mayday for a long time so after some initial scepticism from a history of garages overcharging or even damaging my vehicle while it was in the shop, I took a leap of faith and never looked back. Time and again you can expect expert workmanship, friendly service, affordable costs and efficient turnaround. If something does not need doing or can be gone about a better way, they are honest with you - a very rare thing to find in mechanics/garages. Almost all the time, anything my car needs, they can do. They routinely go above and beyond. Highly recommended!
Been using the services of this handily convenient garage for decades. Not just for MOT work, but for maintenance and repairs. They don't rip you off, but just provide old school good service.

I've been using this garage for MOT's, repairs and servicing for 13 years and have always been blown away by the friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Their prices are fair and I've always felt 'in very safe hands" at Mayday - an honest, forthright bunch for sure. I would never buy a car without giving it a very through going over personally but last week, I bought a car from this garage from six thousand miles away without thinking twice. I think that says it all. This outfit is the exact opposite of all the bad experiences you've ever had with garages.
Used Mayday Motors for the first time based on good reviews for MOT. The service was efficient, and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. Just down the road from me, so will definitely use again.
