Interesting facts about the different types of crystals, geodes, minerals and metals. Also what is quite interesting at the museum is that they also include information about prehistoric fossilized creatures.

A well-laid out and tidy museum with interesting exhibits set in the old post office. I was interested in exhibits relating to 1745 and there was plenty to see on this topic, as well as a room about famous Camerons and the Commandos who trained here. The museum is in a lovely location and we carried on to Loch Arkaig after our visit and played poohsticks over the bridge by Eas Chia-aig waterfall. Well worth a visit, thank you.

A very very very small visitors centre. £4 per adult for 10 mind of a second class visit. Considering commandos ( our heroes) trained here during WW2 I thought it was wrong that they will not let you near the training grounds. Avoid this place like the plague. If you want to spend £4, go and put it in the donation box at the commando memorial.
