STAY AWAY!!! I visited this dentist in 2016, looking to have invisilign treatment. I then received a quote for the treatment, the fixed and removal retainers and two front veneers. Unfortunately I decided to begin my treatment at this dentist, it was a nightmare from the very beginning. I was experiencing some pain during the treatment so seeked a second opinion from a local dental surgery who told me the attachments had been fitted incorrectly and it was causing issues with my gums which of course I then had to pay the other dentist for, the fixed retainer was fitted incorrectly causing more gum problems so another dentist also had to remove and replace it. The veneers were also not attached correctly and were a completely different colour to my teeth. On the final day of my treatment the practice asked for me to again for the veneers and retainers claiming that I hadn’t paid however this was all included in the initial quote. Subsequently they will not provide any after care again meaning I have had to pay to visit a different practice. WORST DENTISTS EVER!!

I had Invisalign treatment at City Dental and I was extremely impressed with the treatment and the end result. The technology used made the whole process easy and non invasive. I would highly recommend City Dental to provide treatment.

Just had a replacement bridge fitted - as usual 5 star service. Dr Beveridge and his team always provide you with a dental plan, so you know what will be happening, when and how much it will cost. They invest heavily in new technology and are at the forefront of dental practices. Probably like most people, I used to be a nervous patient - but now quite look forward to my visits. Great work all - well done.

I went to the practice for several years. The dentist and hygienist were fine. When they invested in a new big X-ray machine they charged each patient an extra £50, whether they liked it or not. I went for my regular check up and was told I was going to be xrayed using the new machine. I asked if that was free, and was then told that all patients were being xrayed with the new machine which would help pay for the machine. These big machines do expose you to more radiation than standard X-rays techniques. Customers should have been given an explanation of this and given a choice and not just charged. Having been with the practice for several years I mistakenly forgot to attend a checkup appointment. On my next checkup I was charged for the missed appointment. I realise this is standard practice among some private dentists but it does leave you feeling bad about the situation as I was a regular customer who had just made a mistake. They should have used their discretion and not charged me. So although the dentristy was fine, this practice felt like profit was number one priority and this didn't make me feel good about going there. As I view these faults as important I have given a low mark in my review.

Warning: Invisalign is not the cheapest of procedures, but I trust them 100% based on my results. You need to manage your own expectations of the costs and be sure to ask up front what each treatment will cost, and any potential costs involved (x-rays, hygienist) so you are informed. I have been a patient for almost 9 months for Invisalign, and I am thoroughly happy with the results. I did have to invest more than I initially expected, but it's one of those things - once you start, you might as well continue to the best possible outcome if your savings permit. On multiple visits, the staff are always polite and friendly. There are usually a number of options available when booking an appointment, which is great - means they're don't over book their calendar. There was only 1 occasion when I could not get hold of the Dr as he was on leave, and delayed my treatment progress for a few weeks; but hardly an issue given the results. They respond to email queries in good time. And they offer a referral programme for your friends and family.
