I've been with this practice for 5 years now and always been seen by Neil except my first check-up. I have always also gone there for my hygienist appointments, which have been to a high standard and have always been given clear instructions and tips on how to maintain my oral health. I decided to continue even without an insurance since the service I had been given was always of quality and I trusted their work which was the most important thing for me, see below explanation. First of all the reception had always been accommodating if needed, prompt in responding and always made everything go smooth. In these 5 years, I did a root extraction and implant operation, plus a few fillings and another more complex filling, involving 3 teeth. Neil has always been very thorough in explaining what he was doing, thinking about each of my teeth, giving me a deep knowledge of what is going on right now with my teeth, what might be happening and always thinking of prevention if needed e.g. 10 years from now this might happen so we would need to do x; right now the tooth is functioning well so we don't need to touch it but it will at some point be needing cure , we just don't know when; etc. The only downside of the practice is that it's extremely expensive and if you don't have an insurance and are considering joining from another practice, I would do a pros and cons before switching :
I got dental insurance through work and booked an appointment here. I was made to feel as though everything that could be wrong with my mouth was wrong with it. Whenever I have visited NHS dentists they have never had any concerns. I felt as though they wanted to take advantage of the fact I had insurance and recommend unnecessary expensive treatments. I cancelled the insurance and have gone back to seeing an NHS dentist. Also, I visited them when PPE was still required. The cost for the PPE was passed onto patients. When I booked the appointment the PPE surcharge was added to my bill. When I went to pay, the receptionist added the charge on again, so I explained that it had already been added. The receptionist sitting next to her had to get involved to explain that the surcharge was already added. The way the second receptionist got involved inferred that she realised straight away that I was about to be charged twice for the PPE surcharge, but didn't say anything until I disputed it. As in, if I didn't say anything they would have gladly charged me twice. My whole visit gave me a really bad gut feeling and I don't recommend this dentist surgery to anyone, especially if you have dental insurance.
A big thank you to this practice and in particular Dr Neil Mason. I initially came to this practice for advice on how to improve my smile due to having an impacted canine with baby tooth hanging on, crooked teeth and a crossbite. I was soon in the very capable hands of Neil Mason who put together a plan including removing wisdom teeth, arranging orthodontic work to straighten my teeth and correct my crossbite, arranging an implant for my canine and then teeth whitening to complete my new smile. I found everyone at the practice from reception to dental nurses friendly and professional. I was kept informed throughout the whole process and it was well coordinated between Bupa Cannon Street, my orthodontist & implantologist, leaving me with no stress at all. I felt confident in all of the specialists that Neil arranged - thank you to Len at the Dental Design Studio who did a perfect colour match with my new implant canine. I now have a smile that I didn't think would even be possible and the confidence that this has given me has been life changing! Thank you to Neil and all at Bupa Cannon Street!
I received Invisalign treatment with Neil Mason and cannot recommend him enough! Neil is super professional, friendly, and achieved perfection with my teeth. The process was very smooth and informative. I was given tips on how to maintain healthy teeth throughout my treatment and had constant care from the staff. The clinic itself is super clean, all staff are friendly and very professional!
My first experience at Bupa Cannon Street was to repair a chipped front tooth which has been failing intermittently over the years with Neil. This was by far, the best experience in a dentists chair I have ever had. Neil and his nurse were considerate, helpful and empathetic and made me feel comfortable while talking to me. I have since revisited for a follow up/new patient check up with Neil and a hygienist appointment with Joanne; both of which were completely consistent with my views following my first visit. I hate those sort of surveys where it asks if you would recommend a product to your friends because no one ever goes around recommending things randomly to their friends; but if anyone ever wants to know what dentist to visit, I am more than happy to recommend Neil and the team at Bupa Cannon Street. Great job!
Best dentist I've ever been to, and that's saying something as someone who is terrified of the dentist. Lovely friendly environment, really quick, punctual appointments and cutting edge tools etc and very well located. Karen and Neil are superb at their profession!
Best dentist I have been to, everyone there is so nice and welcoming, I went several times now for a check up, scaling, and teeth whitening, and the team was always very professional and explained carefully what they are doing. I am very satisfied of the results! Would recommend this dentist to anyone.
Amazing experience. I had a lot of work done on my teeth over two years and Neil was wonderful. He explained everything really clearly, always put me at ease, and delivered fantastic results! Thank you Neil.
Just wanted to leave a quick review. I have had my dental treatment here with Phil Walberg for the last 4 years. He is excellent and amongst other work has completed 2 superb crowns for me on difficult rear teeth. Both fitted perfectly when inserted and have continued to be great since. I also had no pain or discomfort during all of the work and settling in. The practice is good too with all the staff supporting each other well.
I cannot recommend the team here enough! Always a warm welcome and prompt attention. I’ve been seeing Neil as my dentist for nearly three years and he is friendly yet professional and does a great job- my teeth have never been better! All the dental nurses are lovely too especially Kerry! Great value, great service, can’t fault them!
