Lydia is the absolute best at what she does! Her product is amazing but even more importantly to us, she made us so comfortable on our wedding day and we loved getting to spend the day with her. Would highly recommend booking Lydia for any of your photography needs!
Lydia took our maternity/family photos of myself, my husband and my 3 year old daughter. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous they turned out! Lydia captured the exact vibe I had been hoping for, and I couldn’t believe how amazing she was with getting my three year old to cooperate and she had a blast, too! As soon as I saw our gallery, I hooked Lydia for our newborn photos as well. Thank you for capturing such beautiful memories!!
Lydia is an excellent photographer and also very relaxed to spend time with. The combination of these qualities is wonderful. She was particularly good at locating magical locations for the shoot with the best light, and she has a wonderful eye for capturing simple and natural moments, making them magical memories. Her photos are very precious to our family.
We hired Lydia to do our wedding photos and just had an AMAZING engagement photoshoot with her see attached. Her pricing is reasonable and she is very professional and down to earth. She was thorough in her explanation of her process and has back-ups upon back-ups. I like that her style accentuates the natural colours and lighting, which was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. She's been consistently responsive to my questions and booked us in for engagement shoot during an incredibly busy wedding season. During the shoot, she made it easy to get comfortable with the camera and get over the awkwardness, and the genuineness is evident in her photos. Can't wait to see what she'll do for our wedding photos, HIGHLY recommend! Edit July 2022: Just adding some of the beautiful photos from my wedding which Lydia did and she was a delightful addition to the wedding! The power actually went out as she was doing detail shots and she didn't even bat an eye! She was great at joking with and corralling my guests for photos, and had a great eye for photo opportunities. Such a fun and talented photographer, thanks Lydia!
I can't emphasize enough how amazing Lydia and LR Studios have been to work with over the past few years. From corporate headshots to my wedding, every single second spent with Lydia has been an absolute please. Lydia is a wizard behind the camera. If you’re looking to her reviews to try and decide whether or not to book her, let this be your sign to book immediately! She’s so fun & friendly which makes the shooting process SO comfortable. Not to mention her turn around times are incredible and the photos she sends you are just marvellous. Corporate settings, on site branding, headshots, weddings, events, she can truly shoot it all.
If i could leave a million 5 star reviews, i would without a doubt! Lydia has been capturing our growing family for about 3 years now, multiple sessions a year no shame lol and we wouldnt change a thing! She is ever so patient with our kiddos and is so easy going which is only one of many reasons why a shoot with her brings us so much joy - because there’s nothing worse as a parent than feeling the stress of young kids acting crazy during a shoot. Our 4 year old got a toy camera for Christmas and the first thing he said was “Mommy look I’m just like Lydia, do you see the dinosaur on my screen?” Her famous words to get him to look at the camera haha clearly she leaves a great impression even to kids! She is patient, so kind and just a breath of fresh air to work with. We love how she captures the perfect mix of candids and posed photos and is always there to guide us when needed! Her editing style is honestly timeless which is perfect so our photos ‘never go out of style’ iykyk. We look forward to our upcoming session and many more to come!

Lydia is INCREDIBLE! Very reasonable pricing, she is very friendly and does an amazing job posing during her sessions. After receiving our engagement photos this past fall we cannot wait to have her at our wedding to capture the love and fun that will be had with friends and family this July!
