South Asian dude refused to let me and friends in to see Avatar 3D in 2009. We were all clearly old enough to see that child-like fantasy flick, yet he refused. It led to one of my friends to call him a prick. The reaction on his face was priceless and worth it. So the sane ones in the group decided we should go over to Odeon just 10 minutes away. They accepted us, no questions asked. And is now our home cinema. Our first experience of Cineworld Greenwich was awful and we haven't stepped foot inside since.

An Ok cinema. Shares it's location at the O2 which sometimes get really crowded during a concert or a match. Many restaurants and bars nearby to keep you busy before the movie though. Staff inside is good, cleanliness is fine apart from frequent food spils by customers you may witness. The only thing I don't like is limited screening of some movies and some don't even end up there.

Cineworld looks very nice after the refurbishment but as far as I can tell it's just a 'cosmetic' upgrade. The staff are still like pick n mix some are really good and sweet- others leave a bad taste! Customer service is always dependent on the mood of the staff anyway so that's normal. At least now all of the toilet stalls have doors & locks that are fully operational. The visual & audio quality are still top notch & it seems like the screens no longer get really cold partway through your movie. Snacks & drinks are overpriced but again that's standard in the industry. I haven't cancelled my membership after two years which goes to show it's a great cinema.

Terrible experience when we went. First bought our tickets (which aren't too cheap by the way) went to get some drinks and literally got brown water. Got a refund when we took it back, thought we'd try again upstairs. Big mistake, the escalators were not working and no signage on alternative route had to guess where to find stair case. Got upstairs got this very poor excuse for hot chocolate. Got another refund. 2 stars. One for good movie and another for the staff member who was actually really Friendly

Especially the superscreen here is wonderful. Nice leather seating, especially at the high box rows it's very nice. The sound is very phenomenal too. The only downside : the nachos must be some of the worst in all of London...
