I live in greater London so most cinemas my way are either Odeon or Cineworld. This is a breath of fresh air by comparison. Old theatre style seats, wooden floors, stained glass signage and the price of a ticket is absolute peanuts. It's just great all round and I'll definitely aim to come here for films in the future. They do alcohol here and I think I saw a proper coffee machine too.
Incredible cinema built way back in 1911! Kept in immaculate condition. Clean and comfortable seats. It's like jumping into a time machine and being transported back to the heyday of the cinema. Highly recommend a visit.
Nice venue with 3 rooms. The main and bigger room is nice but seats are not comfortable for long sessions. Sometimes there's a big queue at the bar as it's only one in the middle of the venue for both tickets and snacks. If you want something more than just tickets then arrive early. The ads before the movie take around 25 minutes which is a very long time. Toilets could do with some refurbishment but working for now.
Great cinema, no problems at all apart from the cherry tango ice blast as my girlfriend got it and pointed it out to me that it tasted garlicky and I agreed. The next time we went and got it again hoping it would’ve been a mistake and it tasted the same. Overall great experience and cheaper compared to other cinemas.
Great cinema. Screen 1 has the original cinema feel, with classic seats. Whereas, screens 2 and 3 have a more comfy, private cinema experience, due to their much smaller size.
