Great service Paolo and crew Good portions Delicious food Halal chicken! Special show including cheese wheel if you are looking to celebrate an occasion and love cheese it leaves creaminess and big chunks in your food! Affordable lunch/early dinner menu till 7pm if the main menu is expensive
Really nice atmosphere, staff excellent, really helpful and attentive even when the place was getting busy. We just had main courses and dessert and they were all fine. The sauce with the meatballs and the chicken was flavorful the meatballs seemed a little dry and not a great deal of flavour. Similarly the fried chicken was a little dry and a bit bland. The sauce helped bring it together. The carbonara was really creamy and definitely the best dish.
We had a lovely meal at Cibo. The food was good the service was excellent considering we had a trainee serve us. She did a good job! The atmosphere needs work. It's a small restaurant and it was practically empty only 4 tables were seated but we were still squashed and when asked if we could have more space the answer was no but we can move you to a table exactly like the one you are at... that made no sense so we sat cramped and squashed. The waitress was great but the hostess needs to work on herself she was intrusive as if she was rushing for something... not sure what as the restaurant only had 4 tables seated for our entire stay but she was rushing us. Please wipe the bottom of your plates before serving our plates had oil on the bottom which then went on your table cloth and our hands. That being said I would recommend going here for lunch if you are 2-3 people. We won't be going back to this particular spot but we will be going back to Cibo's other locations.
Good Italian Restaurant, plus halal option available so extra points. The food was really good. Taste was authentic. Prices were good for the quality and service. Ambiance: 7/10 Food/Taste: 8.5/10 Service: 7/10 Waiting time: 3-4 mins with reservation Overall: 7.5/10 Bonus: Halal Chicken options
I recently dined at Cibo as they were taking part in the January Restaurant week and had a great experience. To start, I had the Garlic Bread with cheese which was simply divine - it had the perfect balance of garlic and cheese, and was a great way to whet my appetite. For my main course, I had the Chicken Milanese which was cooked to perfection - the chicken was tender and the breadcrumbs were crispy and golden brown. However, the highlight of my meal was definitely the Lobster Pasta - it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had! The lobster was cooked to perfection and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Cibo - the food was amazing and the service was excellent.
visited at the end of january, overall 3.5/5 i noted down the time we came here at 7.56pm with a booking for 8pm, was acknowledged after 5 min understandably, as they were busy. we were finally seated at 8.40pm, which was a tiring long wait. we ordered our food and were served after 30 mins, understandably so as there were many of us. squid ink pasta was alright, margherita pizza was good, the mixed seafood main with tomato based sauce was absolutely delicious. the profiteroles were nice. apparently the bill was higher than should’ve been as a wrong order was keyed into it as well, and requesting the refund was quite confusing. overall, i would say the food is good and the waiter who served us was friendly, but there’s the unfortunate long wait and confusion with the bill.
Great early dinner menu with lots of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Food was gorgeous with great portion sizes.

Well... halaal Italian. Extra points! The food was lovely. Authentic Italian. The dri ks ive been told are quite popular and i can understand why now. I will definitely be coming back but maybe when I can afford an expensive meal. The decor was nice and cosy and staff were good.
It's ok and that's about it. I know it's Italian but I think they have a pot of tomato based sauce and just put it on every dish then the dish is Italian. My starter was ok mushroom on toast no red sauce thank god bit plain tasting though. Two of our group had scollops they were small and got two each and covered in the red sauce. For the main I had the seafood platter, it sounded great on the menu £28 sea bass, salmon, langoustine mussels monk fish. Sounded great as I love shellfish but there was 8 small mussels a few bits of monk fish and one langoustine all covered in bloody tomato sauce that was not mentioned on the menu. How I was supposed to shell the langoustine when it was in red sauce is beyond me and I eat these weekly. In the end left it as the tail was that small it wasn't worth it. Four people two courses each four cocktails two glasses of wine and two cokes £184 I won't be coming back.
