Italian Wine Café in the UK serving our family produced Sicilian wines & authentic Italian spuntini.

Story

In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved - and missed - the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family.

By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini, platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers.

Our wines come from the family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

We booked a class wine tasting with Virgin experience days... the staff made our wine tasting experience extremely enjoyable. They were very welcoming and accommodating. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food pairings with the wine were all yummy. The general vibe of the wine bar is great, highly recommend! :

From the moment of walking in the restaurant Matt was fantastic, the food and wine were amazing and the atmosphere chilled and relaxed. Some of the best food and wine in the city centre!!! An absolute must

Atmosphere was dreary. Club music paired with italian wine and food. Food was tasteless. Disapointing.

I adore this place! They offer marvelous dishes, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that restaurant is an expert, I love a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the clients  is good. I visit often this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I recommend this place.
