Great little chocolate shop, perfect for a warning drink after a cold and windy coastal walk. Lots of vegan friendly options for hot chocolate as well as for ice-cream and milkshakes Shop is a little tricky to find but worth it. Lots of seating upstairs and downstairs as well as a toilet.
We stumbled upon this delightful chocolate shop in a very brief visit to Swanage. I had the best vegan hot chocolate that I have had since turning vegan 8+ ago. It was thick and creamy and extremely chocolatey! I also had a gingerbiscuit cake covered with thick dark chocolate also vegan. It was amazing.. I would go back to Swanage just to experience that hot chocolate and cake again.
Chococo drives me loco !! Popped in for a delicious hot chocolate, the 45% Venezuelan was delicious, sweet like the lovely staff. One young man working there was extremely kind and had a lovely smile, easy on the eyes too if you know what I mean!
I absolutely love this place. Amazing coffee that comes with a lovely chocolate. Also the ice cream and brownies are out of this world!
Was lovely find a coffee shop that values the quality of the coffee rather than how quick they can get through customer. When I went in there was a large queue but the staff made sure every coffee made was at the same high quality and not rushing due to customers waiting. Highly recommend and fairly priced. When ever we’re in Swanage this is our go to place for proper coffee
Lovely shop and cafe based mainly on chocolate. Great variety of everything you would expect, and much more. Service was very good, friendly and prompt, plus loads of choice. We had the chocolate cream tea which was a real treat. Definitely worth finding when in Swanage.Food: 5/5
Great service, lovely premises I liked my hot chocolate but my daughter and husband struggled with theirs. I would like it if they give you milk and sugar with the hot chocolate it should be standard service they would have preferred that. I got 2 brownies they are not cheap and looked delicious however it was like eating a cake not a proper brownie which is chewey and gooey this needs to be addressed as it really let's it's down. However the scones looked lovely. In my opinion I didn't feel I got what I paid for the price I paid I be would like those little extras
We much preferred the Winchester shop. The Swanage shop looked tired and not well kept. The table tops were full of used cups and dirty plates. The food was tasty but we would have preferred the hot chocolate served hot rather than Luke warm. We are big fans of Chococo but this experience was below par for their high standards.Food: 4/5
Really loved the coffee and scone. My daughter had a hot chocolate which was apparently amazing. Have visited this shop a few times before...would thoroughly recommend that everyone should visit it at least once if not more
Very poor hot chocolate. Ordered the 75% and the 80% - both tasted like warm milk with very little chocolate flavour. Latte was poor too. And the staff took about 10 minutes to make them - seemed to be chatting rather than concentrating on making the drinks. Very disappointing. I might as well have gone to a cheap cafe.
