The pharmacy closes at lunch time. Only in Swanage would this happen. We’re not living in the 1950s. People work and have limited time to go and get prescriptions and often lunch time is the most convenient time. Absolutely ridiculous!
They do their best so busy and pharmacy is to small for the work they need to do..so waiting times are long..and communication not good.
Always nice to see Boots on the high street. Professional staff and a good range of products. The repeat prescription service is a real bonus. This is a small branch and the system of two queues, one for counters and the other for prescriptions, gets a bit muddled at times but I do feel for all the people working there - it's almost always busy!
Arrived in Dorset for a long weekend from London and found I'd forgotten my meds. I phoned my own GP surgery who were so unhelpful. Went to Boots in Swanage and spoke with Kate the pharmacist on duty who couldn't have been more helpful. She was so calm and reassuring. Advised me to call 111 so they could send a referral through. Had my meds within 20 mins. Can't rate Kate highly enough. Great service!

One Sunday, when I had been bit by another pupil whilst at the nearby boarding school causing me to require antibiotics urgently, my carers went in store and got me my antibiotics. The staff prioritised my carer's request When I needed spot cream in a hurry, they got it in for me rapidly MAR charts had generic times When I had needed cream for my impetigo, they got it in very quickly.
I love this Boots as it is big & spacious, which also make it easier to find things you want a lot quicker. The other thing I really like is how clean & tidy the shelves are kept because it makes finding what you want a hell of a lot more easy! The staff are really helpful & efficient - just an all round good shop to buy your daily essentials from. The only thing I will say is the price of some of their things are a lot more expensive then if I went on Amazon to buy the same item it will be half the price!
Good Boots branch - received a refresh recently, and is now a much more pleasant place to shop.
Looked for specialist cream, forgot name of product & explained it to assistant ..she found it straight away. Really glad they train them not only to serve but to Know products too.
The staff are always helpful. The store crams as much stock into a limited space as is possible. However, moving around can be difficult at busy times and some items in the Boots range may not be stocked or be difficult to find.
