What a real gem this place is! Delicious food made in house with locally sourced ingredients served by a friendly team - what else can you ask for? We live locally and visit Salt Pig Too on our days off - either for breakfast or for lunch. Last Monday we tried their quiche and a lamb targine - absolutely lush. Both dishes came with 2 sides which you could choose from their beautifully displayed salad bar. We’ve also noticed that they now do a salad box to take away which makes a great option if you are going to the beach or work nearby and need a health lunch.nTo finish our meal, we shared a cinnamon loaf which seemed to be their dessert of the day. It was delicious. I think it was even nicer than my previous favourite - a hazelnut brownie.nOverall, this place can’t be missed if you are visiting Swanage. Great option for breakfast, lunch and - as the manager said - soon for dinner too. We are definitely looking forward to trying their evening menu.
Great breakfast here with a difference. Local produce and friendly staff in comfortable surroundings. Where you can have food in to take away and buy fish and meat at the same visit.
I had the goat chops at The Salt Pig and they were absolutely delicious - wonderfully seasoned and clearly of excellent quality. The vegetables on the side were perfectly balanced and complemented the dish beautifully. On top of that, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Very nice place and the food is really good. Also the coffee is high quality beans. We stopped for lunch during biking and we're very pleased
Came here and had such a nice lunch that we came back for my wife's birthday. Lovely place with a rustic charm at the back of the butchers with lots of reclaimed wood as the furniture. Lots of local art in the walls, but most are here for the food and daily changing menu. We had whipped goats cheese with roasted veg and Paté, which was delicious. Minute-steak marinated in whiskey with a delicious sauce. My steak was perfect, but my wife's chewy but they were very accommodating and made good on this. All good has local providence and the flavours are excellent.
