This is the second time we have been to the China Rose and I have to say the food was fantastic just like the first time. The staff were brilliant asking is everything ok can I get you anything like they do. Thank you China Rose for a lovely meal we will return.

China Rose Poor Service Review; Fantastic food however very poor customer service. They had NO thought for the customer on the 14/04/2018 and our family (3 adults and one 6 year old). We popped In at 9:45pm and decided to have a family meal out imposed to a take away and said to the lady on the bar that we was going to freshen up and come back. She said "that's fine, they close at 11:30", on the door it said 11:30pm too. When we came back to our surprise they stopped serving, this resulted in us going back, freshening up and walking back for nothing. We decided to order take away as we know the food is good. My partner asked for prawn crackers they said don't worry they are complementary on an order of this size. After we paid for our order we asked them to deliver it to our caravan site (advertised in there leaflet for free) so we can walk back and meet them there. This would allow our food to be hot upon arrival as our van was 20mins walk away. They refused and said there driver was out and we must wait!! As it would be done In 5 mins!! We sent the ladies back to the van to relax whilst we waited for our food. 15mins later our food was done and in this time we have seen the driver come back and was chilling around the bar/back area with the staff wearing a grey gullet. We explained our frustration to the man and woman In charge at this point and it was voiced on deaf ears. We walked back to the caravan and had cold food!! We also found out that there was no prawn crackers in our meal. In the past the team have been lovely when we was eating inside. Why was it so poor this time, also the China Rose needs to display correct pos detailing there seated service times!!

Lovely ambience, courteous and friendly staff. Reasonably priced varied menu and most importantly great food.
