Do not order food from here. Firstly I ordered food at 1.50pm and the estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. It didn’t arrive until 3.10pm even after calling them. All they said was ‘they are busy’. Secondly the delivery driver phoned me and asked what my address was while he was on his way even though I had given them my address on the order. Not only that but he was extremely rude when on the phone and when I asked how long he would be, he just stated that he only wanted the address and said goodbye and hung up in a rush. When he arrived he tried to question if I paid by card, which I did. Even after showing him on my phone the payment confirmation, he still insisted to phone the restraunt and ‘check’. He was rude whilst speaking to me at my door and had an attitude. The food wasn’t even good. Only one dish was even up to decent standard. It was soggy and barely warm. The dishes were expensive, especially for their quality. It’s not worth ordering food from here. They are rude, ignorant people. Their delivery time is ridiculous and their food just isn’t nice. Don’t waste your time.

I did not believe the other reviews at first, but delivery took over 1h45m, but that is not the reason for the⭐. The food was bland, almost insipid, and very watery. The dishes looked unappetising as hell, and tasted only a little better. The meat ingredients are obviously of a low-quality and the food is not being tasted. Chicken spring rolls were from frozen, more like overfried pastry balls with only a hint of filling, none of which tasted like chicken or vegetable. Very disappointed and would not order again, not even for my worst enemy.

EDIT: As a note, if you check Google maps, you'll see this isn't even a real Chinese Takeaway, it's run by some dodgy guy in the back of a pizza place called Parma Pizza! China Magic isn't listed on the health rating site as it's done under one business, but Parma Pizza' health rating is dire (1 out of 5) so expect the same health rating for China Magic! Appalled at the attitude. We have been going here weekly for months (maybe even a year) and never had a problem. This time the Sweet and Sour Chicken was missing, called as soon as we noticed only to get the rudest person on the phone. "That's amazing because they cooked it and packed it" and wouldn't back down., even got us to count the containers! Maybe they did, but it was not packed in ours (though judging by these reviews, they're a bunch of liars!). They agreed to send it over after much pressuring and then we thought that maybe we mistook the Satay we ordered for it (as the Satay has pineapple in, very confusing) and thought maybe it was the Satay missing, hence why he was adamant the Sweet and Sour was in there. So we called to let them know and he was extremely rude and hung up. We got the sweet and sour about 30 minutes later and it was definitely the sweet and sour that was missing. The food wasn't too great this time either, sweet and sour chicken balls (not to be mistaken with the aforementioned missing dish, and overpriced imo) were burnt and flavour of the rest was lacking. If they had just been polite and sent the dish, there'd be no issue, but we will not be going here again. To be treated like a liar trying to get a free dish when we've never complained in the many times we've ordered before has soured (haha) the place and I will not be handing over any more money to a business that doesn't appreciate it's customers.
