Best meal out I've had for a while. Really tasty and good portion size and value for money. I've had a few chicken meals and desserts, coffees and muffins within the past 6 months and feel confident enough to make a fair comment. Service speed has improved also over this time.
Would give even lower if possible. Aside from the chips, everything else in my burger was cold, the chicken was visibly dated with the chicken more of a dark brown than the golden brown you get with FRESH chicken. Even the chicken inside was tough and chewy further proving how old the chicken was. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
Salt and pepper chicken wings and the spicy kebab wraps are amazing! All food is fresh, with chicken roast, burger and wrap meals and even pizza available. Very reasonably priced. Love their spiced chips
Good quality chicken, not cheaper than KFC though. Place seems to be deserted most of the time for some reason and it takes ages to make your food for some reason. Folk I know said they had a bad time in the past although that was like 3+ years ago to be fair Gravy is expensive IMO and their Milkshake is cheap but absolutely horrible. The person who made mine used like 70% milk and 30% ice cream and upon realising it was so watery, decided to scoop ice cream into the Milkshake cup before handing it over to me... Yuck All in all, is okay but doesn't trump KFC, except you want halal
*wish there was an option for minus stars* Waited over an hour and a half for a chicken burger meal and a cheeseburger meal. When it came the whole meal was freezing and the drinks were roasting. Called up to be told the manager would call back. By this time I was raging. I was told 5 mins. 20 mins later they called and told me they'd give me fresh chips and that they don't do full refunds on food. Anyways by the end of the call they agreed to our full meals. Waited another 50 mins for it only to come cold again! The lettuce was basically black. The burger was full of gristle and even bone! And the chicken burger was as dry as the desert! Do yourselfs a favour. If you fancy chicken or beef go to McDonaldss or kfc! P.s the manager is an ignorant, arrogant man.
Take away was so piping hot and fresh, taste was upto the mark, very satisfied with the quality. Ordered Chipotle beef burger and wings along with chicken burgers and fries and everything was just yum!
Hit and miss.. Waited 40 mins with 3 kids for food. While others who arrived after us got their food. When ordered for delivery food arrived and the chicken was dry, chops were soggy. Defienlty not in my top 10 places to eat halal within Livingston.
Such good food! I would absolutely say that the Chicken Cottage food surpasses that of KFC & the Chicken Club - which is a tough thing to do in my books. The piri piri chicken without batter was juicy, very well seasoned and just pretty damn delicious.
Thee only place to eat if looking for Halal food when visiting Livingston Shopping. Food was okay...but had to wait 25 minutes, even though place was empty, apart from another family who were finished. ...that's not fast food! Portions were small. Would I go back? ...yes...unless there are any other halal places to eat.
The gourmet lamb or gourmet beef burger meals are high quality. Presented nicely too by friendly staff always. Value for money. Not an expensive place to eat
