Lovely day out, the rainforest and lemur enclosure were amazing. I would definitely go again.nThe volunteers were brilliant offering knowledge and answering questions and giving me directions.nThe zoo was clean and tidy, with places to stop and grab a bite to eat or drink at the different areas of the zoo.nI managed to see the whole zoo and was there 11 - 4.nI would go again I really enjoyed it.nnI would ask that the zoo review the pricing of the drinks.nI cant comment on the food. But £4.60 for small coffee with a flavoured shot steep!.nI purchased a map, but there are boards dotted about. Even so I found it difficult to find my way round working from these and others did too.nThere's ample free carparking with markers to help you locate the car.
Great Zoo with plenty of parking, great bus link to Chester, Ellesmere Port and Liverpool.nPlenty to see but due to on going work it was difficult to get around.
Well worth a visit, major development coming next year, hopefully will get back soon to see it
As it was a last minute decision to go we didn't get too see another of the vast park, but from what we did do was very enjoyable. Very pricey so if thinking of going ...book online and go early to get the most out of it and maybe take a picnic too to help with the cost.
Our family had a fantastic time at Chester Zoo last Sunday. The variety of animals and well-designed exhibits kept us engaged and excited throughout the visit. While the tickets were slightly pricey, the experience, educational aspects, and conservation efforts made it well worth the cost. The kids were thrilled, and we all left with smiles and wonderful memories.
