Its structure appears good. However, I faced the below 3 problems which are generic so giving this kind of rating for it. 1. The bus stop is open both the sides i.e. towards road and where bus comes to pick. No facility for a person to face cold wind if he has to spend some time on this bus station. 2. The toilets are open for limited hours of 8.30-5.30. But there are buses at early morning and night. This less duration of toilet opening times is troublesome for the passengers. 3. I used this stop before 8am and now at 9pm. Both the times, I could not find a single helper or person to ask that if my bus as per the ticket is not shown on the screen even just 10min prior to its scheduled departure, then how to be sure it will come. It's quite unsafe also, if somebody has to wait late night and there is no staff member for query, help or any concern.
Despite the efforts of the staff the place is covered with chewing gum. The toilets are shut on Sundays which as they are unmanned doesnt make sense. Watch who you get in the information kiosk some fantastic and some down right rude attendants.
I drive my bus into it people get on and off the bus what can i say we run a good service.. except when it's running late let's be honest no one likes a late bus
Cold, toilets close too early and sometimes attracts antisocial behaviour. Much better than the old bus depot though.
Good site and very white cane friendly. All bus time tables not in large print and their is no method for the visually impaired to read bus times. Staff helpful and is kept very clean.
It is what it says on the tin. A bus station Very open. Very helpful staff. Modern. But screens are very high up making reading info difficult
Excellent location for a Park and Ride service but despite a lovely looking terminus building there are no public toilets. Another down point was that nearly half of the carpark was taken over by travelling people and their caravans which was a bit un-nerving especially as it seems the only way out for us was to drive inder their washing lines.
Recently built modern bus station in Chester. You can travel across Cheshire, Wirral, into North Wales and to Liverpool. You can also travel across the UK on the National Express buses. Local buses fares are cheap and all buses I travelled on were on time. There are toilet facilities at the bus station.
I take a bus once a year... this was a nice bus station with a covered waiting area, that had grass growing on the roof... Nice.
Very clean & easy to use. A good Cafe on site+ general store shop. Good set up all round. Helpful staff.
