We’ve recently bought a property via Cheshire Lamont and have been incredibly impressed with them, every step of the way. In an industry enjoying a generally poor reputation, Cheshire Lamont stands out in our experience. The entire team are on the ball, proactive, courteous, follow-through on every commitment and they provide timely and friendly communication. We won’t hesitate to deal with them again in the future.
I don't often write reviews but I was extremely disappointed in this agent's lack of integrity that I had to write this. We viewed a property on Saturday July 9th with this agent and rang them up immediately to make an offer but no one picked. A few minutes later, we got a call to ask us for our feedback. We then put forward the offer, only for the agent Emma to tell us that the seller has accepted another offer that came a few minutes before ours. This is appalling and unprofessional as the agent didn't give us an opportunity to make an offer or put our offer to the vendor before accepting an offer. Thisbl is a very shameful practice and one which isn't lawful. Everyone should be given a fair opportunity by putting all offers to the vendor. By behaving in this manner, you don't deserve to be running this business and you ought to be investigated for such malpractice. This is really sad!
I really wanted to give a positive review to this agent as the gentleman who attended the viewing was nice and friendly but the lady at the office Emma ruined it all. After a 3 hours journey, she didn't give us the opportunity to offer on a property after viewing. We called about 7 times to offer on the property but no one picked. Eventually, she picked and told us that the vendor accepted the offer of the woman that viewed before us. Why let us travel down when you wouldn't even put our offer to the seller? We offered the asking price and it wasn't put forward to the seller. I'm disappointed beyond words but I guess I shouldn't have expected any sense of morality from such an agent, knowing this is the first time this has happened. What a waste of time and money in the end... Thanks to Cheshire Lamont.
Cheshire Lamont, Tarporley have provided an absolutely first-class service in the sale of our property from start to finish. They are professional, friendly, very experienced and extremely knowledgeable about the area and seemed to be very proactive in finding suitable potential buyers. The brochure they produced presented the property beautifully and the photographs showed it at its best. Within six weeks Cheshire Lamont had carried out around a dozen viewings and during that time they received an offer, remarkably close to the full asking price, which we accepted. They continued to be as helpful during the sale process, liaising between solicitors, the buyers and ourselves, keeping everyone informed on progress the entire time. It really has been a pleasure dealing with Cheshire Lamont and I cannot recommend them highly enough. It is easy to understand why they are this area’s market leaders.
The team at Cheshire Lamont have been so supportive selling my late mum's flat. They communicated regularly throughout and were always there when I had questions or needed advice. The sale went so smoothly - even with a national Lockdown to contend with. I can highly recommend their professionalism and super friendly staff.
