Food very good off the main menu. Carvery is, generally speaking excellent with a wide choice of vegetables and three meats etc. Price wise excellent value for money and cheaper than some other chain pubs that offer the same. Always plenty of staff around. You can book tables in the week but not at busy times during weekends. Very good children's play area and tables for families with children. The only thing to be aware of and this is not a criticism, is that weekends are very busy and at peak times you can expect a wait. Car parking not a problem as you can park in the services area if their car park is full. Overall a very nice pub and good atmosphere.

Only ever been here on a Sunday for the Carvery, although they do have a separate menu if this isn't to your liking. It has always been busy, sometimes having to wait for a parking space, but there is quite a quick turnaround so don't have to wait too long. The Carvery is really good with a selection of meats, usually turkey, beef and gammon joint. There is then a large array of different vegetables to help yourself to. Drinks are an average price. If you still have room for it after your main meal, there is a great selection of cakes or ice creams for dessert. They also do a takeaway service for the cakes

Great food love a carvery. However was shocked to find a large piece of black plastic in my carvery. The response I received when informing a member of staff what I found was very good. I instantly received an apology and was offered a free dessert for myself and my partner. Upon leaving the pub I again received an apology which was grateful for.

Oooohhh I had the best meal here.... Eva. We thought it would be busy with it being the school holidays, but it was easy to get a table and we got served fairly quickly. Everyone loves the cherry tree xx

Not been here for a while and is much better now it's changed hands. Had theTex-Mex burger which was nice, but would have been better if I'd actually got the jalapeño and sour cream that should have come with it. Good value for money though. The kids had jacket potatoes and bean and the wife had the club sandwich - no complaints from any of them. The play area is great allowing time for some adult conversation while the kids enjoy themselves.
