We have had a great day at Chartwell. The children found it very interesting and there was lots of walking and places to play and walk. The house itself is beautifully looked after, all the staff that we're in each of the rooms were very knowledgeable and offered their information in a friendly and interesting way. During the school holidays the car park was very busy. But they had staff out in the car park directing and controlling the traffic. They did a great job.

Great venue for family. Grounds the gardens, the ambiance of the ace the historical value with all the exhibits should not be missed. Young children teenagers and adults alike will be enriched with fun pleasure and knowledge too. Easy access ; disabled parking ample car parking cafes gift shops. Loved it

Home of Winston Churchill and full of fascinating insight into his life including his paintings, library. Also showcases some of the official gifts he was given. The grounds are delightful and there are some great walks to do ( nothing too strenuous lengthwise but it is hilly). The National Trust shop and tea rooms have all the usual favourites but are a little larger. The shop has Churchill specific merchandise.

Love going here. Visited few times already and always worth the distance. The house and views and breath taking. Gorgeous gardens and walks through the woods are good for the kids. Can take dogs which is great. Just love the place

I have been to Chartwell house on two occasions. The house and grounds are just stunning and the tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. There is plenty of car parking spaces and there is also a bus for disabled people which operates from the house to the tickets and coffee shop area. Well worth a visit.
