Call the referral line at 10.20am only to be greeted by a recorded message telling me the referral line is only open between 10 and 2. Its not the first time.nnCan't even get on a telephone queue for the main line as too busy. Even when i have in the past its a 45 minute or longer wait which i can't do normally as i work. Add a call back system people who work can't sit on the phone waiting forever.nnSeemingly the online appointments are no longer added to the system.nnYet despite all this they are still accepting new patients.
Literally pointlessnnYou call, you get told to call back another time or “walk in” and hope you get seen. Many people work, i cant just “walk in” everyday and wait several hours.nnYou call back when you are told and the calls are at capacity.nnThis is exactly why i went private.nMy consultant asked me to get a simple blood test, and i cant even get that from this doctors.
This is the most horrible GP practice I ever been. They don't listen you, the Dr there think they know everything, they don't reffer you to specialists or for scan even if you go to them with an external reference. In my opinion, this gp should be permanently close, it's absolutely useless and they don't care about patients at all.
Horrible doctor manner with patients, gp says to my partner she isnt ill enough to be signed off sick from work but then goes to say that she really should take time off work to recover straight in the same sentance and that she will just have to take the financial hit from not having sick pay because it shouldnt be on her company to pay for her to be off ill.nnDoctor also says she isnt allergic to what we know she is even though she has all the symptons of being allergic, gp then turns around and says that your not allergic to what you know it is but we wont test to see what your allergic to as its not worth finding out.nnWorse attitude i've come across from someone whos literall job is to help people not tell them to just deal with it.
The staff themselves are very pleasant, however the telephone/booking system needs a great deal of work.nI have just spent 45 minutes on hold to be told there are no more appointments available.nnOnce all appointments have been booked an automated telephone system needs to put in place letting people know all appointments for that morning/afternoon have been taken and they need to ring back in the afternoon or next day or continue to hold to speak to a receptionist.nnI don’t think it’s acceptable for patients to be on hold for nearly an hour and then pretty much dismissed once they finally get through to someone.
