Tried to get an appointment for 6 days in a row, lines are always busy and "the call is very important for them". The phone queue is always full, so you are automatically kicked out and need to call again. When you finally manage to speak to someone, all the appointments for the day are gone, and they request you to call again tomorrow... then tomorrow is the same, and the day after, and after. Doctors in the medical practice are pretty decent, however it is impossible to get through to be seeing by any of them. I once spoke to the manager of the centre and told him the difficulties, and that the system does not work, but nothing has changed ever since. In my country the system worked like that 40 years ago. Now, trying to find a medical practice that do really care about patients... no, I am not Tom Cruise, and this is not Mission Impossible.
Impossible to get an appointment. How is it a good system to have everyone call at 8:30am to book an appointment?! And that’s the only time you can! Once they are gone, it’s ‘you’ll have to call back at 8:30am tomorrow’. Then when you do call, there’s no space in the queue so you can’t even wait on hold. Complete shambles. It’s no wonder people end up in A&E with minor problems. Can’t even get a GP appointment!
You can never get an appointment. I was trying from the time they open to get through and always to busy. Once i finally got through they had no more appointments. You can book for the next day. They have clearly taken on more patients than they can handle or cant manage the place! I also use the patient access which is a waste of time clas there is never any appointments on tgere as well. Ive ended up moving its that bad. When your ill you should be able to see a gp not be told you go a&e cause they have no appointments.
It is a shame there are so many bad reviews with this practice as i have not experienced anything that is negative really, mum has been with the practice for 2 half years and i sort out all her medical issues as she is terminally ill. Her gp Dr Hudson is very intentive and thorough, admittingly you cannot always get a appointment asap but i am offered other alternatives. I would like to say the receptionists have been very helpful and do their best to accomodate mum, i particulary would like to mention AMY who is a credit to the practice and goes beyond her role, professional, polite, i think it is always worth noting that receptionists can only do what they are instructed to do which can be frustrating to them at times and stressful as they are the 1st point of contact so its only normal for us to take it out on them, a polite manner from us takes us a long way too.
I moved from what I thought was the worst doctors in Telford to this doctors and its DEFINITELY the BEST THING I DONE, yes it's difficult to get into sometimes but the STAFF have all been so LOVELY, KIND and EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Over last few years I suffered with ongoing shoulder dislocation which happened around 4 times a day, my depression started getting lower due to feeling like nobody was helping or listening, when I spoke to the doctor she was so LOVELY and puts mind at ease and even contacted my consultant's secretary. The practice have always gone above and beyond to help and I cannot thank the practice staff enough.
The doctor was very thorough and cared about my health. The admin and reception staff are very polite and helpful. The doctors surgery is very large inside and they have a specialist cardiology department as well as others. The Queens building is located opposite to the medical practice.
This practice is by far the worse I've ever dealt with. More chance of seeing God than a doctor. Receptionist say they will send you a form out, 10 days n still chasing. Awful practice, they simply do not care
Its impossible to make an appointment here, if you have management's mail, I have some interesting information about the way their reception works. Its a shame and its awful!!!!!!
the worst GP in the Telford area. The receptionist are not nice. Still high volume of call8.30-10.00 after 10 they say we have no any appointments... calll for 111.
This is the worst place ever….in more than 2 years I have not been able to get an appointment…it is a joke, they do not care about patients…they do not give you any help, we should all move to other medical practice to see how they will survive without patients…
