Friendly staff, fresh food prepared in front of you at reasonable prices. Wide variety of sandwich and breakfast options including usual full English as well as pancakes and other different items. Good amount of seating with choice of high tables, sofas or regular seating. No music and loud air conditioning from the kitchen could benefit from some ambient music played in seating area. Has outside seating albeit onto reasonably busy road. No minimum card payment is very helpful but expectedly as a small business no American Express accepted.

First and last visit I’m afraid Ordered 2 breakfasts and a toasted sandwich Breakfasts looked good and arrived immediately, unfortunately the toasted sandwich took over 20minutes. As the breakfasts had now been finished I simply asked for a refund and have never been made to feel so humiliated over a sandwich, as apparently it’s not policy to refund!! Over 20 minutes is way to long to wait for a toasted sandwich especially when 2 breakfasts have been eaten There was an excuse of only one toaster but could have been advised of this on purchase: After 2 requests and a bit of a scene,we upped and left for the manager to hand the £3.89 refund to my partner. Amongst it all I’m not even convinced there was an apology

Found this place by accident, but so glad we did! Staff were lovely (and a bit quirky), the cafe area was well-presented and well managed. Service was very quick - less than 5 minutes - but they didn't compromise on quality. We both ordered a full English, which appeared to be on the smaller side but actually was more than sufficient (and only a fiver each!) The cafe also offered loose-leaf teas, which was unusual for a cafe of this size. We were very pleasantly surprised by this cafe, and will definitely be back!

Awesome breakfast. Plus big range of other more healthy options. Great place to go if your hungry but probably not the best place to buy swimming trunks from or for getting your boiler serviced.

Friendly staff with good food and drink on offer. I've been using this cafe on and off for years. In a great location for anyone with a motorbike to pop in as it's basically next door to P&H. The parking is really crampt but you can generally get parked nearby for free. They do a good fry up and the pricing is reasonable.
