I  am a regular visitor over many years to Charleville Lodge and always  enjoy my stay there. It is a professionally run establishment with emphasis on excellence. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It has a most pleasant ambience and is ideally located.

I have no hesitation in recommending Charleville Lodge as one of the very best guest houses in Dublin. It is a pleasure to stay there.

Nice little place about a 30 minute walk to downtown Dublin. There is a private car park at 7€ per day.
Unfortunately our room could have done with a little upkeep. There was a loose tile in the bathroom and the radiator was stuck on full blast. At the other end of the room the window would not close properly (we informed the staff yet nobody showed up to fix it). Maybe this was intentional in order to balance out the tropical climate pushing in from the east.
Despite the above mentioned issues we had a good stay at this affordable cozy place. 
The White Moose Cafe downstairs provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning - it alone was worth enduring clashes of climates in our room and we would be happy to stay here again.

Location pretty good and has some good bars and food options near by.. Rooms were OK. A little dated but still fine/clean/warm and comfortable.. Stayed in better and stayed in lot worse.. So all In all you get what you pay for and Prices were reasonable.. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.. No complaints from me..

I am not sure if this hotel is good for anybody. I went with my partner, and saw it online with beautiful pics. I know it was only cheap, but the service doesn't also need to cheap as well. This hotel is so entitled. If you want to save money while in Dublin, go to a hostel which would be cleaner and service better.

Honestly from the reviews and comments this seems like a wonderful place to stay. If and when I go come to Dublin I will make sure I will book with you guys! If you’re reading this, please take in to consideration that a blogger with no job and self entitlement is not worth missing out on this beautiful gem.
