We have just returned from our stay in Dublin and the Hotel was perfect, the service received as soon as you step foot in the hotel is excellent. The Lobby and Christmas tree are fantastic.nRooms are well prepared and beds are very comfortable.nBreakfast has a great selection and again service was excellent.nThe location is great as you can have a moderate walk to most areas of interest, shops, restaurants and pubs. We'll be sure to book again if we return to Dublin.
Looks stunning from outside but unfortunately that's where it ends. I love a traditional old hotel. The floors in halls and bedrooms are Lino , this makes it noisy and clinical.nBe aware you could have a room at the back where service areas are. Fans whirring, staff break area, bin collection etc noisy. We had to insist on being moved.nBreakfast was a good selection. Bed was comfy and rooms where very spacious.
It was a birthday present for my husband. We only stayed for one night. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite, which means a lot to us. Are room was beautiful & spotless. The hotel looked amazing with all the Christmas trees and decorations. Very festive in deed. If we get the chance to visit the Gresham Hotel again I think we would like to stay for a long weekend.
Irene in the breakfast room- what a superstar employee. She was so good to us, so helpful and pleasant and extremely hard working. She is an asset to the hotel & was run off her feet but always made time for us to help us with a smile on her face and because she genuinely wants the customers to be happy with the experience. Everyone was very hard working in the breakfast room and pleasant! Also a huge thank you to the barman who made us another drink when we weren’t happy with the first one given. Great customer service and much appreciated!
Staff are really switched onto their customers needs. Help with the lifts holding open doors. My partner uses a walking aid and the concierges always offered help with the three front steps.nnThe breakfast offering was excellent catering for all tastes, I cannot see why anyone could complain.nnThis is my first stay in this hotel and l will be be back in May 26. Very centrally situated with transport right on the doorstep.
