Traded in a Rare Pink Ps2 with controllers etc.Agreed £63 for it which I was happy with , just needed to be tested which couldn’t be done on the day, fair enough. Said they’d have it tested and will be contacted by email following day to be informed if all ok and funds transfer will be processed. Heard nothing after 3 days, was nearby so went in to see what was going on. Had been tested but was missing the av cable fair enough I wasn’t aware and said they’d have to knock a few pound off. Said they could only pay £30 not £63?! Apparently it was because it had a few minor scratches the physical condition was confirmed before I let them take it which was reflective of the original £63 pricing… Complete waste of time and money for parking etc. never will I go in again.
Shocking how much they rip you off. They offered me a small amount of money for a ps4 and sold it for 4 times the amount on ebay. Plus I got the cash in stead of I store credit. Also they might want to invest in air freshener for the store as it always stinks of BO in the store.
Pointless. Waste of an hour. Brought an old Google phone in, brand new condition and boxed, bloke assessed it and said 80-100 quid once they've tested it and to come back in an hour with my ID. Fair enough. Dossed about town for an hour, when I came back a different guy gave it back to me and said they can't take it as the left ear sound output was duff. I took it home and tried it out... Guess what..... Nothing at all wrong with the sound, left and right, or the phone as I tested it fully. I can only guess the boss man told the employee when he was testing it that they had enough phones in stock and not to take anymore, to the cost of my time and after the initial guy lost his bottle to tell me after wasting an hour of my time:-/
Won’t be using this lot again, agree £203 subject to testing, passed testing, wife went in to pick up money, about to give her the £203 then someone decides that they can’t/won’t for some mythical reason, I go in and they’ve decided to down grade the phone, oh and the price has gone down To £173!
Really good experience selling. Store was bright modern and well laid out. Will come again.
Very good shop for film and game fans. Large really really large range of used products with DVD's and Blu-ray's from £2 all the way up to £32 for rare discs. These are behind the counter on a high shelf. Game consoles, accessories, phones and camera's also sold and bought.
I agree with another reviewer on here regarding their services. Staff at the store were fine, but i was told i would receive my bank transfer for a camera sold in excellent condition last Monday. It's now Wednesday and no payment, no local phone number so they can fob you off longer. Not very impressive, it cannot take so long to test basic equipment.
Very rude to customers and a horrible shop, got told to bring back item if not happy which happened then to get giving store credit insulted much. Never shop in this place bunch of thieves
Tried to go to the store this morning and the staff are standing outside locked out as no one has keys, this is not the first time I've seen this happen. Shocking management. I hope your staff will be getting paid extra for standing around waiting in the freezing February weather, and deserve some warm drinks and snacks for their trouble too!
Easy experience selling online and dropping in store.
