Only good thing I can say about this shop, is the staff are friendly and kind. THIS IS MENT TO BE A CONVENIENCE SHOP!!! No Milk - fridges don't work. Of course things like this happen. But this has been going on for weeks. No one thinks to buy a small fridge to put milk in, just so they can keep selling it. Its not just milk but that's the basics. So if you do manage to get milk..it will be off by the end of the day. Shelfs are mostly empty and have been for ages. They even closed for a day due to this. Local residents rely on this shop. Most are elderly and some don't drive. Can't work out if it's the owners who just can't be bothered to put the full order in other shops are not as empty as this one. I don't think its bad management but bad ownership instead. I really do feel for Wroxall community. This is not exceptable. Would not recommend going here at all.
The problem with Central is not the friendly staff but lack of management who dont want to get involved but to be fair i give this store 1 more stars more then the store in Ventnor who i had to give the minimum star rating of 1 as zero wasn't an option. I really hope a competent company like Tesco s or Coop buy out Central whos management dont give a damm
They charged more and weren’t very nice. it’s a shame it’s the only one that’s walkable for me.
Having lived in the Village, and used this Store for over 7 years now I felt I had to comment. Throughout shop takeovers, name changes, staff shortages and the transition from convenience store to sub post office too these people have maintained a cheery front. They have always been approachable, despite quite often not being told what is happening within the store, and being expected to retrain for post office duties at short notice. I wouldn't be without them. They deserve a medal. The village shop is the heart of the village, and long may it continue to be so.
Convenient location, helpful staff but literally nothing in half of the friges
Nice people but there a little bit slow at getting you to pay at the till. thay don't seam to acknowledge you. Only 2 happy ladies in their that talk to you
Well what can I say Cathy and her team is brilliant for this shop it’s a stunning village shop always smiles and laughs when you go there always help when and were possible Thank you for being urself and making people feel welcome all the time
Good banter from the three lads there, always fun with them. Poor selection and overpriced stock as well as unpredictable post office hours lets it down otherwise.
Went in there today for some postal supplies,didn’t even have a note pad or any sticky tape ! Waste of time
