I visited here today after my husband was told by a work colleague that its the best ice cream ever!!nWell all I can say is yes it is, what lovely welcoming staff. Amazing ice cream and you could taste it before you buy. Although I was being good and only tasted 2. However when it came to buying I got the biggest pot with 4 flavours of ice cream. I ate it all... I'm going back tomorrow to try different flavours...
We have just had the most delicious ice creams made on the premises. It has quite literally made our day! If you like decent dairy ice cream, have food intolerances or need to have plant based ice cream - you will not be disappointed. I can’t eat eggs or dairy - usually the choice is vanilla - take it or leave it in most places. Here I chose half a scoop of pomegranate ice cream and half a scoop of pink grapefruit - I can confidently say it was the nicest ice cream I’ve ever tasted even harking back to the days I could eat dairy and eggs. There was also dark chocolate, lemon and also chocolate and cookie dough plant based options. If you can eat dairy there is an even bigger array of options. My teenage daughter chose miso caramel cheesecake and said it was delicious too. The owners told us the menu changes daily. They offered us a taste test too. As well as delicious ice cream, the staff and service were an absolute delight. Portions were generous - if you are on the Isle of Wight stop for an ice cream, detours are more than worth the effort. Sizes start with toddler portion. We went for lovely crunchy waffle cone, pots were also available. They also sold very good churros with a little pot of chocolate dipping sauce. Two generous ice creams 1 scoop with a waffle cone cost us £6.40 in total. Cash or cards are accepted there.
Crave came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The staff were pleasant, they knew the faces of regulars, and you can tell it’s a warm and loving shop. They were generous with tastes and the scoops.nAll this is secondary to the number of flavors. You can’t go wrong with any selection.
The best ice cream I've ever had, no doubts at all. I tried their clotted cream tea and lavender flavours in a cone and it tasted divine. Fresh, creamy, not too sweet and absolutely delicious.nnI'd go back in a heartbeat if I lived any closer.nnHighly recommend!
If you are nearby, go in and get yourself the best ice cream I've ever had! Tracy is brilliant and actively encourages you to get tasters, I'm almost certain she'd have let me have a taste of all of them if I wanted to and she wouldn't have bat an eyelid. So many different original flavours that rotate every day. Couldn't recommend any more!
