My wife and I have enjoyed several visits to Castle Cave and have always received a friendly and professional welcome from the Staff. A particular reference to Morag in the restaurant and Laura on Reception on our recent visit. Food as always was very good and the swimming pool facilities are a big plus. Room 1 is our favourite choice with its period ambience.

Got here at 15:30 on a Saturday for a romantic night away. Booked in, no problem finally got to the room through the maze of corridors to an annex away from the castle.
I went back to the car to pick up the luggage only to have two wedding guests obviously drunk take the mick out of me and one other guest as we returned from our cars. 
I'm going to complain to reception ASAP. Not impressed at all. Never coming back

Stayed here twice (out of golf season so room rates were excellent. £85 first visit, £69 second). Speedy check-in and rooms were impeccable. Staff are very friendly (especially Morag, who could not do enough to please every guest). Food is a main feature and although a little pricey to what I'm used to, it was 5 star quality and not tiny portions. Breakfast was wonderful with locally sourced food and certainly sets you up for the day. Love working in the area as it gives me a chance to stay here.

I love this hotel. The staff are kind, friendly and courteous. The food is great. The rooms are very comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous. It is a wonderful place to go for lunch, afternoon tea or to stay over night.  You feel transported back to bygone era where good manners and respectable behaviour matter.

We stayed one night at Cave Castle Hotel as we were down from a Scotland for a funeral. I was dreading it as I never sleep in hotel beds but this was wonderful.Hotel beautifully decorated for Christmas, room lovely, facilities great and amazing breakfast, but ,most importantly, a beautiful comfortable bed!! This was a classic room but when we come back to Hull next we're going to book a traditional room for several nights!! Excellent!!
