Had a very pleasant 2-night stay last week. Very relaxing surroundings with VERY willing, pleasant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely bar area and dining room. Only reason I've not put five stars is that our bedroom (No 17) was somewhat cramped and the bathroom was tired and in need of updating. Shower hot/cold very difficult to get right. As I say, apart from bedroom/bathroom, it was a very nice place to stay.

Words cannot describe how we feel about this place and the team. From the moment we stepped into this place, we fell in love with it, the staff are so friendly and Amanda is such an amazing woman who accommodated us no matter the request. Prior to the wedding day, we was able to go to Rowley on numerous occasions to look at the rooms and if we had any questions we thought of Amanda and the team always replied promptly. They couldn’t do enough to make our day special, they all went above and beyond their duty. All our guests complimented the venue, the food, the rooms, the staff and service. Any worries I had was soon put at ease by the team. Each member made us feel like family and that is the environment we wanted for our wedding. Steve and Jason set up the venue and tables etc and made it look spectacular, Steve was our ceremony master and he is such a brilliant man, full of character, made me chuckle and feel at home. As our wedding was in October, all the fires was lit which was a highlight to a lot of our guests who would sit by the fire and relax enjoying their drinks and the atmosphere around them. Even after the guests had left, the team still stayed around for the guests who was staying overnight in order to provide a bar service. Me and my husband cannot wait to spend more time at this beautiful place and catch up with a remarkable team. Thank you all so much for giving us such an amazing day and memory we will cherish forever. Love Roxie and Adam xo

Loved staying here. Food was lovely, the area was gorgeous, the people were friendly! Had the best bed I’d ever slept in. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants a weekend away with a loved one any day.

Stayed on a two night package B&B. Paid extra for a four poster room and was disappointed with the room given (No. 7) but they were very happy to move us to another room (No. 2) which was more than twice the size and very nice. In general the house is a little worn in places but has lots of shabby shic going for it. We did have dinner on one night which was very nice and not expensive. Everyone was very nice and I would come again.
