A really lovely meal out. Food was incredibly quick, and the portion was so big for the price. Staff were lovely, managed to squeeze us in despite not having booked in advance. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Parking: Plenty of spaces, close to the entrance.

Traveled up to my great nephews christening. Then treated to a meal at the Castlefields. What a GREAT place it is. plenty of parking, lovely staff and GREAT FOOD. If I lived closer it would definitely be my local.Food: 5/5
Easter Sunday Carvery, very nice it was too! you wont leave feeling hungry. it has a fresh new look and a good atmosphere.
Great restaurant, lovely food and prices not too bad. There is a lack of WiFi availability and mobile signal which caused a few issues when trying to access the internet to pay our bill for internet banking and for our son who's autistic to be able to keep busy with his tablet. Outside play area is a great spot for the kids to let off some steam. Facilities are all lovely and clean. Kid-friendliness: Play area outside.
Service was a little brisk and hurried not much in the way of pleasantrys from the waiting staff. Room was a little crowded and noisy. Felt a bit cramped. Newly refurbished so decor was lovely and fresh looking. I went for the Sunday carvery. Great value for money on the main and all was well cooked and delicious but desserts were a bit on the pricey side for what it was and choice of dessert was a bit limited. Overall a good place for sunday lunch but be warned book in advance as tables fill up very fast.
A wonderful, welcoming country pub. One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. Very reasonable, plentiful meat and food each veg and exceptional staff! Only just outside Hay on Wye we'd highly recommend.

Quite possibly the best quality, quantity, value, service, setting in Herefordshire. Will definitely be back.
