Very nice cosy chip shop. My fish was made fresh for my order which is a very good sign. My only advise them to change the chips or cook it a bit longer. Their curry sauce is phenomenal. Fish was piping hot as well as chips. Batter was well balanced and light but tasty enough.
Very friendly and professional person stuff.nFish and chips are delicious.nI won’t go for pickled egg again “not my taste”nnIn the meantime before your order is ready you can walk down the street to the local shop for some extra stuff “if you camping for example” we had a jar of pickles and tartar” as we was five of us it comes out more cheaper than buying from the fish and chips shop.nOverall happy with the experience!nnOverall good stuff good food and ok prices.

Absolutely loved grabbing our dinner from Castle Fish Bar. They had a wonderful menu with plenty of options for the entire family.nWe couldn’t decide and ended up ordering a sampling of different fish, hamburgers, chips and they staff was kind enough to give my kids some treats.nSuper friendly staff.nNo seats available so we took the food down to the beach and had our dinner there.nThis is a great spot.
5th time of coming here. Food is really good. It would be great if the servers could actually stop their own conversation for a moment and listen to the customers. Had to stand outside and wait as the customer area is ridiculous. I know many chip shops have a corridor waiting area but with one door in front of the counter there is little room to move or get by and no understanding of the queing system. Between the busy road noise and the noise generated by the shop you can’t hear them call you. Was offered salt & vinegar and the fish gets smothered and the chips get nothing, dare not interrupt the never ending staff conversation. This has been the same on 5 occasions, if it’s busy just avoid as it’s a stressful place
