An exceptional doctors surgery. I have found any of the doctors I have been given an appointment with to be thorough, caring and understanding, the way all doctors surgeries should be. The practice nurse and reception staff should also take a bow! My partner is a qualified doctor and knows too well how difficult and strained the job can get for everyone - and she was very impressed when I shared my experience with her. You are an absolute credit to the NHS guys.....keep up the amazing work.
Absolutely horrendous service, the reception staff don’t answer the phones - even when you get through the highly frustrating recorded messages and finally get to number one in the queue it takes them half an hour to answer. The lazy reception staff see patients approaching the desk….. yet still sit on their backsides chatting to each other and ignore you, only after a couple of presses of the bell do they finally respond. On a weekly basis constantly getting text messages stating that due to staff shortages they will only have emergency appointments, and the stupid answer messages state they only take doctors appointments between 8.30 - 10 am!!!! I spent an entire week try to get an appointment calling several times a day at different times only to be 17 in the queue and get to number one and they hang up after 45 minutes. I have spoken to various neighbours and family and they say that their doctors surgery answered phones instantly and could get appointments very quickly - so what’s going on with this surgery. I finally got a doctors appointment which was in 2 weeks time………. Only to wait a fortnight and get a text message saying that the doctor was unfortunately not available and to make another appointment - this is beyond ridiculous. My advice is sack your reception / admin team, get rid of the frustrating answer service and employ people who will actually answer the phone when it rings and attend to patients rather than sitting chatting and ignoring patients - sort the mess out or me and my family are going to another more professional surgery
i am truly dissapointed with the care ive been given by the practise , i must admit up until my docor left practise i couldnt fault surgery, but now i have this ongoing repetitive issue with prescription 3 - 4 weeks in arow now its gotten that bad my pharmacist is even telling me now to change doctor, ive erven got to point that im beleiving it is intentional as how can you keep rerpeating same problem 3,4 weeks in a row itsd comiung across as a patteren of behaviour now its having a massive impact on my daily life also work wish i could commend the practise but the whole thing has got beryond silly now i can only post my experience with the doctor i have not the entire surgery
Terrible service bad communication need to hire receptionts that actually care very unhappy get prescriptions ready on time
This is a fantastic surgery, I have recently joined and have been so delighted by the caring manner from all the staff I've been in contact with - both over the phone and in person. The Receptionists, Doctors and the Nurses have all been excellent and it I would like to say thank you very much to them all. I moved from Battlefield surgery where I have been used to such poor service that I had come to expect rudeness and incompetence as a standard from a GP's surgery. I am glad to say that is not the case and there is a wonderful service being provided in Glasgow. For anyone in the area considering a new practice, this is the place. Thank you again, Kim
Don't even wish to speak to the doctor. It is impossible. Whenever I call it, the line always busy.
Recently called the practice to arrange appt with GP. This was to be a telephone triage. The GP didn’t call so I called back to be told that I was to go to pharmacist and see if he could give me something. I advised I had to speak with a GP but was told it was too late to put it bakhrough to the doctor. After another night in pain, I finally spoke with the GP who arranged for an antibiotic. She advised that it would be in the chemist for collection later that afternoon. When I attended the chemist at 6pm that night, the prescription wasn’t there and so I didn’t get it till 1PM the following day. The GP herself was lovely as was the receptionist. I just think there was a lack in communication. In addition, I was on hold for 50 minutes while trying to make the appointment in the 1st place. I tried to go online but I could not find an email address etc to try and contact them to advise I needed an appointment. I realise they’re busy, I work on the NHS too but 50 minutes is a long time to wait when you don’t even get an appointment at the end of it.
Always very pleasant from the receptionists, nurses and Dr Datta ,Dr Fisken ,Dr McGill Dr Whitehead and others, just like most surgeries nowadays appointments sometimes difficult to get, but if an emergency they will try to see you
Once you get passed the unhelpful receptionist and are fortunate enough to get an appointment - the doctors and nurses are amazing and friendly.
Waited 45 minutes on hold today to then get told I could not book an appointment and to phone back tomorrow there should be a statement on the phone when you call stating that no appointments can get made after 10:30am even if your holding before this time has been met.
