Posted Sept 2022. Not what is described in the blurb so best avoided.. Automatic number plate readers didn't work, also the gates were out of ticket cards so had to ask for assistance for entry at around 10am On return at approx 10.30 pm a week later,phoned the number given on my receipt: the guy at the other end of the phone told me in an abrasive way that it was the wrong number. I tried the number he suggested, no reply after calling 3 times. I phoned him back to double check the number: he was either being very rude to me or someone else in his presence as he yelled down the phone. Eventually got to car park 7. Was told they had run out of tickets so just press for assistance to leave. Did that, then the rude guy was at the other end demanding to know why I hadn't got a ticket! What a shambles. Surely better staff to manage this NCP are available?
Open air car park. Some confusion as it is used for COVID testing and hotel parking. I was originally sent to a multi storey but, as I had already paid on the App using the Solihull Moors discount I went back and was let in. The barrier would not recognise my ticket when leaving but the helpline lady was excellent and I was released! It may be that I made a mistake but it all ended up OK.
If I could give 0 I would. The worst experience in my life. When we first came police was already there with people complaining their keys has been lost. We got ours - gave out by police - but we couldn’t find our car for 2 hours. It supposed to be there ready to pick up because we called them before. We are on way home but there are still people looking for cars in field. By the way I didn’t see any staff working there - god knows what they were doing. All job was done by police. They was probably sat in office and let police doing their work. Avoid this car park! Pay more for another one or just get a taxi. SO BAAAD !!!! We will make a complaint to airport website hopefully all of you will who experienced it before.
If I could give less than 1 star I would, because this was the worst car park I’ve ever parked in when travelling. Couldn’t find my key on return, moved my car to another car park but not enough staff to go and get it, the barriers didn’t work and took ages to answer call for assistance, no contact numbers for management, their driver left indicator on for 2 weeks on another car and battery went flat. Running a car park should be quite simple you’d think!!
One of the most incompetent businesses I've ever dealt with. Two things were okay – the transfer to the airport and the price. But apart from that, they were hard to find, non-existent signage; bad directions in the emailed instruction; elaborate paperwork, slow service in the service 'hut'; they took keys and moved the car, and wouldn't hand back keys until I'd signed unseen that the vehicle wasn't damaged; the exit barrier didn't lift for me despite having paid in advance the 'assistance' button was ignored until, in frustration, I sat on the horn for a minute or so; had to sign a contract manually on both entrance and exit rather 20th-century really. Read thru the other reviews if you don't believe me! Disrecommended: pay the extra and get competent service elsewhere – cowboy outfits like this should be edged out.
Quick check in when we parked the car
A wonderful option at a good price. We parked for just 2 hrs, got the shuttle bus to the terminal and back. The bus took around 15 min to arrive going and was there within 5 min on return. You can stay short or as long as you want.
Carpark 7 is near where I plane spot but the area is wonderfully isolated and quiet and is used frequently for airport parking and Mad catering is nearby for a burger or bacon sandwich if hingry
Booked car park 7 for 5 days didn’t realise it was a drop the keys off car park where they move the car. Came back to the car to find a pen mark down the centre of the driver seat. The attitude from the staff was about as unprofessional as possible and they really couldn’t care less. Gave a form to email off and thats all. To boot a pot of change, maybe 10/15 quid was taken. DO NOT USE just pay a little bit more and take your keys with you !!
AVOID. Handy for leaving your car there… that’s about it.. unless you want to return from your holiday to find your car set up in full ‘boy racer’ mode. Or maybe the next day go to do your weekly shop to find all your spare change stolen so you can’t even get a trolly.
