Probably the best pizza we've ever had. Popped in for a drink and got chatting to the owner. Extremely welcoming, polite and friendly staff/owner. Couldn't fault the pizzas at all, would highly recommend making a detour to this venue if you're in the mood for an amazing pizza experience

We returned to this venue after a gap of two years and were not disappointed ! Good service and an excellent choice of draught beers and menu. We chose 'fish and chips' which arrived freshly cooked with plenty of 'home made' chips and mushy peas at a very reasonable price - alas, no room for a pud ! Will return

Been a lot here to eat but recent visit was not as good. On entering only candles on tables to eat by. Thought I had missed valentines day. The menu was on a bit of paper clipped to a board. No specials menu. Only about 7 or 8 things on it. Only take cash now no cards. Food was OK chips just warm but fish good. Don't think I'll be back soon.

A fine big room with an open fire, is both bar and dining room. A classic selection of bar food on the menu and excellent, if pricey, seafood dishes as specials. Everything is cooked well and in an interesting style. Clearly many locals like it and you can't really go wrong. We had the wild seabass special – outstanding fish, if small portion, spicy green onion and rapine veggie – lovely, with delicious new potatoes. A well-made Cumberland sausage and great fries. Note: – cash only – no cards.
