Friendly driver, at least the trip went quick after I got to pay for a cab Edinb-Livingston when the bus let me down. The app and answer machine is terribly bad: difficult to manage and missing the customer service help and support that only a REAL person can provide. I will avoid in the future just because of that. Is it that much to ask for a bare minimum of paid and attentive staff these days? :
Phoned and ordered a taxi to the airport at 14:00 for 16:00. 16:00 came and no taxi, few minutes later I got a message to say there was no taxi’s in my area. Took 6 attempts to get someone on the phone only to be told there were no taxis in my area and no time frame as to when it would be, asked if I still wanted the booking! I had to phone another company and wait his was already 25mins after initial booking time, just made my flight, luckily security was clear. Stress I didn’t need! They had 2 hours to tell me they could supply a taxi this would have been the best course of action by them surely? I Will never use or recommend ever again!
I was very disappointed with this company. I was running in the Edinburgh marathon and needed to be sure I could get to the venue on time. I booked two days before the event and was assured of a taxi, and double checked the booking the day before. On the day I was told no driver was available and I ended up eventually having to take an Uber
Fantastic very polite patient and engaged with me definitely a driver to keep …. Only been with the company a week he was saying but if i had drivers like this definitely would never have any complaints definitely needs appreciating.
Fantastic service . after a five hour delay on our flight. We were so tired and had quite a long way to go home. Our driver was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Thank you for your service.
Liked the txt to say driver on way, driver was quiet but very respectful & courteous. The car itself was lovely spotless and very comfortable.
Chap arrived early and was just finishing his lunch. Was happy to take instructions on the route I knew there were temporary traffic lights on the main route in. He was polite and chatty. Got here early too. Many thanks
This place aways used to be my go to taxi company. For years, not once did they ever let me down. In fact, they were so good that they often arrived early and I have met many a lovely taxi driver from this firm. However, this is no longer the case. On the last two occasions, my taxis have been late. The last taxi I booked for 2:30 pm sent me a text confirming it was due to arrive at 14:29. No sign of the taxi and then I was informed that there were no taxis in the area and it could be up to twenty minutes late. I can no longer rely on this company in the way that I used to which is a real shame. If you plan on using this company, please be aware that this is now an issue in terms of lateness and unreliability. I very much hope this company gets its act together and goes back to being the excellent service it used to provide.
Driver was excellent. Super helpful, friendly, helped with my cases. Very happy with the service and will use Capital again. Not sure of driver's name, but his little granddaughter is called Amor! Great service. Thank you.
