I brought my wife and 2 sons,8 and 12, to the restaurant today. the boys had their bikes so they raced around the skills loop outside the restaurant while their meals were prepared, the food was very good indeed and my 8 year old who is a fussy eater ,ate everything. There is a great choice on the menu too and the coffee was great. I loved the setting -in a mountain bike park .I was expecting there to be just a mountain biking style café with chips and toasted sandwiches but this restaurant excelled all that. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for! The staff were pleasant and helpful too.

This is a great place, been a couple of times now and loved it on both occasions. Had lunch with the dog one day and a five person family meal one evening, food is of a very high standard and the prices are very reasonable. Recommend the Scottish platter for starters it is enough for two sharing and my wife was very happy that they have gluten free buns for burgers.

Great stop if you are out for a walk in this area. Or just passing through the area. Right on the sight of one of the most important battles of Scottish battles of British history.

Looks lovely but staff rude and unwelcoming. I was in with my wife and two children for hot chocolate and were asked to go outside in cold as they were "too full" despite a number of empty tables.
