Visited the Dutch Inn last week with my mum & sister, we opted for the 3 course meal . For starters i had the breaded mushrooms, it was so nice to get homemade instead of the frozen one normally given in restaurants, the mushrooms were fresh and delicious, served with side salad and mayonnaise. I don't normally get steak pie when eating out as i have had a few disasters and that's the last thing you want when you go out for a meal, but after the starter i gave it a go and ordered steak pie and roast potatoes and it was amazing, pastry spot on and bonus not served in these individual ashets which just make the pastry flaky and dry. The Steak in the pie was lean and moist and the gravy lovely. I sampled my mum's fish and it was lovely and flaky with a nice breadcrumb finish. For dessert ordered fruit crumble and ice cream, the crumble was just right and the peach and apple went well with the ice cream, i tried my sisters lemon meringue pie and raspberry sauce and it was delicious, wish i had more. Definitely recommend you give this restaurant a wee visit as £12.50 for 3 courses and the meals all home made you will not be disappointed.

Great place for a meal. The food is always tasty and the menu is fine. We arrived late on a Saturday night and were served with no fuss or bother. Our meal was fresh and served exactly as we requested. My only criticism and it's a a very small one is that the presentation was not of its usual standard but it certainly wasn't enough to put us going back.
