It's been a couple of years since my last visit and I must say it has significantly improved. Not exactly one of the best Camden libraries but they have a decent collection of books for it's size. They do have a vast collection of thriller and crime books, but a very small section on new releases. There's a very small area to sit and read sofa sharing, and one or two desks.
Went to the library today to get a library card. I was instantly greeted and helped with obtaining the card, and also got a tour of the library and how to check books in and out. Once I was looking for the book I wanted, another gentleman helped me find it quickly. Thank you so much to the lovely staff for all the help!
They have a good selection of books and the staff are kind and readily address our concerns. As a parent, I find their initiatives appropriate for my growing children and these activities often keep the adults engaged too. My infant enjoys the rhyme time session that Sheryl organises. Kendra conducts a superb robotics lego sessions, which is a hit with pre-teen kids. They also have a fun math sessions every alternate Saturday. Kevin and Maulid are very knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and approachable. Kudos to Camden council for providing this asset for the community.
I went this morning do photo copying and printing.. first I could not get inside as the door did not open someone from inside staff has to let you in.. only if you are a member.. as I am a member so they let me use library...there were 3 men’s but one was extremely helpful his name is Maulid hope I spelled his name correctly.. Maulid was so helpful it’s unbelievable such a kind and helpful human being... But another man.. an a black man sitting on the desk is like his the boss did not really wanted to help instead being bossy towards Maulid.. Thank you so much Maulid for your help.
