Camden Head

A delightful pub tucked away just off Islington high street. Great beer and helpful friendly staff. A most enjoyable couple of pints! There's a comedy club upstairs and plenty of outside seating. Great place for a beer.

Really beautiful traditional pub, with a lovely festive atmosphere and great Nachos and ale! Will return to try their lovely festive pie very soon!

Enjoying a pint with a friend, but we were asked to leave with no prior warning because our 2 hour time limit was up. There was plenty of space and no reason to ask customers to move on. Manager is also rude and could do with some training on customer care. Will not return even when pandemic is over.

Great pints, really nice setting and a really nice place that observed and understood the current state of society. Props to our waiter Tom who was always quick off the mark with any request. A return visit is just around the corner.

Went for drinks and dinner yesterday at Camden Head. All social distancing rules were in place and adhered to. The food was brilliant and the service was really good. The pub manager Tom and his staff were all amazing. We had loads of fun there and will definitely return !!!!

The Camden Head serves Camden Hells, so what's not to like? Fancied some Fish & Chips for lunch so gave it a try and it was OK. The fish had lots of crispy batter but the fish itself was on the dry side and the granary bloomer didn't taste fresh. Service excellent and very friendly staff

Used to host a great comedy club. A decent boozer otherwise and a solid choice in Angel, if pretty middle of the road.

Nice pub in good location with plenty of outside space.
