About

A cracking little pub in the heart of Islington.

Story

We are a happy little pub on Upper Street just a stone's throw from Angel tube station.

We are proud of our food and have a brand new traditional menu by popular demand plus we still have our cracking burgers and artizian pizzas!

Vinyl DJ every Saturday night from 9!

We serve brunch daily between 10am and midday then our full menu until 10pm.

We love our cocktails and along with the twisted house classics we always have a couple of specials on to wet your whistle!

2-4-1 cocktails Sunday to Thursday!

Wine Wednesday (our favourite!) - Pinot grigio £9.95 and Prosecco £11.95 a bottle!

Lunchtime quickie - great lunch deals every single day 12-5!

Then to cure your hangover our Sunday surgery - smashing roasts and bloody mary's served till they're gone!

"A welcoming and quirky pub in Walthamstow Village with large beer garden. A warm place to have a nice meal and catch up with your friends over a drink or two. We offer a wide range of real ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks."

This gem at the edge of Walthamstow Village is really special. The staff are friendly, the food is great and the pub has a lot of character and soul. It’s worth noting it is a dog friendly pub and no children are allowed.
Another great local pub, no kids which is nice sometimes! Not that I have anything against them and pubs do what they have to, to stay in business, but no kids brings a more adult and peaceful vibe. Good beers, including cask ales which is important and good jazz on Sunday evenings
A funky pub with nice outdoor area. Good selection of beers. Even had a slushy machine
First time back here in about eight years. Don't know why it's been so long well, I moved away but I've been back a year! Good range of beer. I hear the wine is nice, and a great and varied beer garden. Must come back for Sunday jazz. No kids allowed, which is great or bad, depending on your situation.
A lovely pub in a beautiful part of Walthamstow. Very relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit. I was slightly disappointed with the choice of craft beer with a decent brewery just down the road! but maybe I'm being fuzzy
Nice friendly atmosphere with free jazz live music every Sunday
Not the greatest pub I’ve been too. I called up for a roast to make sure they have one and their sign saying they do it is still outside. Drove 20 min to a place that doesn’t serve roasts anymore. Landlady is super rude, been rude to my partner and told him we wasn’t welcome because of wearing workshop clothes. Never seen that in a pub in east! She should have the carpet hovered and cleaned before commenting people appearances. Alcohol free : Lucky saint and edinger were on the drinks menu however any of lagers were available; basically loads of things written on every sign of this pub but nothing available! Staff was super friendly and young. Wont be back.
A nice little spot in Walthamstow, it's in quite a secluded spot, which I think is quite nice, as most pubs are on the high street etc. Prices are reasonable, your not breaking the bank by drinking here. The service I received was good, I have no complaints.
I had previously rated this pub 5* but the landlord called me a c*nt the last time I visited on NYE. I was reaching out to her at the time concerning the fact that the coveted pub had been receiving bad reviews recently. It genuinely was a nice experience up until the exchange with the landlord. I and my friends and everyone I can advise won't be visiting again. The Village and The Queens arms are much safer spaces where you won't receive abuse from staff. On a sidenote, barstaff were polite and felt well with being understaffed on NYE.
Great atmosphere, good food and beer. Jazz/blues/rock on Sundays, get there early if you want a table.
