Can only give three stars as, quite obviously, it is out of season and everything is currently closed. The rating is based on the upkeep of the site which is quite immaculate. Another more detailed review in the summer.

Clean and smart looking. Quiet and unhurried. Entertainment for children and adults and a well-stocked shop. Cafe located on site which does a reasonable breakfast. For an inexpensive weekend away for a "chillout" this should be considered...

A decently sized chalet park with facilities for families. The chalets are mostly, if not all, owned privately and available for let according to the owner's preferences. The site has everything a family needs for a decent trip away, and is close to attractions like Thrigby Hall (a small zoo), the Norfolk Broads and Greath Yarmouth with its pleasure beach attractions. The site itself is five to ten minutes from the beach, and boasts a fast food place, a cafe, a swimming pool, an arcade, a small shop and a child friendly club. Even during busy times the site is peaceful, with the chalets set out in squares with plenty of grass to accommodate dogs or children's activities. For a British seaside holiday, this site is ideal, just ensure that the particular chalet you rent has good reviews as the internal maintenance and decor varies wildly between them.

Great holiday camp for family with young kids. Everything is close and only a short walk great prices too.
