Highly recommended! We had a problem with the electrics on a camper van we hired from someone else. Even late on a bank holiday they downed tools, drove across town to get a replacement part and fitted it with no fuss. In the meantime we were treated to the warmest hospitality, with a tour of the workshop and a tea in the bosses office. Got our trip off to the perfect start and can’t thank them enough!

Very good experience.  Very helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Really lovely almost new camper which was fitted out really well with everything we needed for the week.  Will definitely use again.  Thank you, we had an amazing week and the camper enabled us to visit some really beautiful places.

Fantastic company from start to finish. We sought advice regarding our campervan conversion and we have nothing but gratitude for the guidance and workmanship at Caledonian Campers. We are extremely happy with the quality of the conversion which will no doubt last the test of time. Thanks again.

They have an inspection that makes you feel like a criminal when you bring the van back, even when there is nothing wrong.

Yet when you point out that the water in the van didn't even work.

And the table was unusable because it fell over when you put anything on it as the wood at the base where the screws go in was all damaged.

No apology or compensation of any kind is offered, they just walk off.

So it's OK for them to provide you with something that doesn't work and isn't fit for purpose but as other reviews show, if you so much as look at the van the wrong way  they are going to hammer you !

And just to rub your nose in it, a deposit of £530 is actually debited from your card instead of just being reserved for them if needed, as it should be.

And then you're told it will take up to 10 Days to get back the money they shouldn't be taking in the first place.

And if you ask anything about anything they just throw back at you that it's in our terms.

We had a very good experience with Caledonian Campers. The staff were helpful and friendly. We liked our brand new campervan very much en had a wonderful holiday. We would recommend Caledonian Campers to everyone!
