Lovely meal at Cafe Tamarinds tonight. We took advantage of the deal - starter, main and coffee for £12.90. Kebabs and bombay biryani were delicious. Cobra beer on tap too. Will be coming again! Vegetarian options: Great selection. Lots to choose from. Parking: Parking on site to the front and rear of restaurant. Alternative parking also available in the village free of charge. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant appears to be wheelchair accessible Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options. Menu had the allergens on so very friendly for those needing info re allergens
Smart, tidy and clean premises, truly sumptuous food, a wide menu sure to please, great portion sizes to fill you up and for the quality outstanding value. Do visit! Kid-friendliness: Welcomed us with our pram, and we weren't the only ones during our visit
Lovely resteraunt, went as a large group and the service was excellent, food was delicious and the price was actually extremely good; very pleasantly surprise. Parking: Small carpark but it's better than nothing!
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was very good. Well spiced and tasty. We ordered the Hyderabadi lamb- cooked with tamarind, almonds and yogurt sounds divine, right? It was, although I find it a bit too sweet. The shahi paneer was my favourite on the sweet side too - chunks of paneer generously covered in a rich creamy sauce with a subtle tang --- delicious. The rest of the dishes were yummy too! Jalfrezi was hot as it should be, sag aloo well cooked not runny. The coffee was not bad, but not good either hence the the 4-star. Will certainly have a meal at the Tamarinds again and again. Highly recommended, go ahead and try their lovely food.

We had a large group, the team at Tamarinds looked after us brilliantly, the food was exceptional. Great evening, fully recommended.
10/10 From a take away on a friday night or eating in at the restaurant itself on a saturday - Tamarind Cafe ALWAYS delivers! So unbelievably glad to have tripped up on this little gem, cannot believe we have only discovered it recently. As vegetarians the choice on the menu is astounding, I have tried a different dish every time and each one is just as delicious as the last! The service when eating at the resturant is second to none; the staff are attentive, helpful, welcoming & a pleasure to be served by. To top it all off - the price is fantastic; for freshly prepared, authentic, delicious & generous portions - the only suggestion I could give to the Tamarind Cafe is keep doing exactly what you are doing, much appreciation for making every take away night a great night!
New owners, my madras was delicious, I don't usually finish a curry but I definitely ate all this one. Kid-friendliness: Staff were marvelous with my two granddaughters who are quite young and made sure they were comfortable and happy.
I found the staff were lovely and helpful. I also found the prices have gone up Vegetarian options: There was enough on the menu for vegetarian choices Parking: There is a small parking lot at the rear approx 6 cars and parking on the front of the property for about 4 cars. It can be busy as they do takeaway food. The parking is free. there is parking in the village about a hundred metres away. Wheelchair accessibility: If you can park your car close then wheel chair access is OK but you might have to come from the village. Dietary restrictions: The menu is clearly marked for various people. You are asked to notify the staff if you have choices. And preferences.
The food was amazing and the staff are extremely attentive! Overall a great place and I love coming here. It is a great value for money.
