Disappointing! Ordered a main mutton curry and the quantity was less than a side curry, obviously with very less pieces. Less flesh more bones. This is unacceptable! This place used to be soo good and I used to love the food they make. But now I don't understand what went wrong! I did call the restaurant right away, A person named Karthik answered, said he was the owner, he apologized and said would make up for it the next time instead of sending a new one on the same day!
I will not give you a 5-star rating because there is opportunity for improvement. However, it won't be fair to give you anything less than a 3-star rating. Overall, average. What is good so far is 1. The food was really good and fresh. 2. Service was quick. What needs improvement 1. The atmosphere is very dull, the lighting is bad. Improve the decor. 2. Improvement on cleaning is required. That is the general cleaning of the dining area. 3. Please allow card payments. This is the 21st century. People will not withdraw money just to dine in your restaurant. The notice "cash payment only" is automatically turning down customers.
Food taste is very good. If you are looking for authentic tamilnadu cuisine, try this place once. Quantity should be improved. Number of service personnel should be increased. 1 guy can't handle the service during peak times.Food: 4/5
The Recent Experience with Dosa village has been horrible. its both for Dine in and Online Order has become worst customer experience and be cautious to whoever ordering or dinning in. This restaurant needs to be called before arriving if they really serve customers because most of the time the restaurant has changed to party hall without notification OR ANY BANNER FOR OTHER CUSTOMERS . Online orders have been taken then we get a call that no one will be able to deliver and your account gets debited and needs to wait for the credit for many days. ****PLEASE BE VERY CAUSIOUS WHILE ODERING AND DINNING IN*********
Myself along with my brother went to have dosa here. Food took some to be served and the chutney provided was not good as we could tell from the taste, the coconut was expired. When we went to pay at the till, we had mentioned about the chutney for which the staff responded “ok”! Whats frustrating was the total bill was £10.70 and I only had £20 and £10 notes with me. I gave him £20 since both us didn’t had a penny coin with us. The staff refused to pay us the balance stating he cant give notes and coin balance as he will run short of money in the till! We told him, u fortunately this is what we have, he stood there and said he cant so anything! I then told him, why don’t you at least discount 0.70p so i can pay for £10 note and finish it both ways. He was like he can’t do that. I was ready to pay by card, he then took his card machine and said its not working! He kept insisting us to transfer money to their bank account. I asked him, why are making things so complicated and ever more what if I didn’t have my phone or didn’t have online banking facility, for which he kept on answering back “you have your phone with so why are talking like this, you can do it” etc! I still kept on asking what would you do in scenarios like this where there is no phone or internet etc. He didn’t even have an answer and above all what irritating was as i was there standing complaining he kept scrolling through his phone on some online shopping site! I ended up bank transferring the money and we came out. But what they did was actually frustrating and not at all a standard customer service. The management should at least keep up the standard and provide training to the staff. Never going in to this place again!
Good place for indian food specially for South indian food. Nice authentic taste of Indian food. Really liked it.. Cheers !!!
Ordered takeaway and it was amazing. Proper Asian food and it's like 7 quid a curry. Perfect
Good and normal south Indian comfort food . Had non veg buffet and mutton devil. Buffet had very limited options rice , sambar , rasam , chicken curry , mutton curry , Dal , Pappad , and sweet but taste was good . Mutton in mutton devil was deep fried and lost its flavour , not recommended. Limited yet tasty buffet , zero ambience , mediocre service .

Taste is very good... Traditional cooking and the service is good.. I went 2 weeks ago ...one sunday.... The white guy and the lady service is good. Nice place..
