Vest chippy I'm Belfast. Massive fish. One portion of fish and chips would do 2 people. Nice curry sauce. The gravy isn't the best though in my taste. It's like onion gravy though some people like that.
When it's good it's great! But I've had too many hit and miss moments with this place.
First off really good service - guy taking orders was taking one over the phone so another guy came up to take my order. First time eating here and the food was really good. As a standard I try a few chips and a battered sausage. It was one of the better ones out there, cooked well and reasonably priced.
Don't order from this place on a Friday between 5-8 pm unless you're happy to wait a very long time!
The fish and chips are very tasty and I would highly recommend it.
Food not cooked as requested very disappointed. Fish batter doughy, I asked for i tto be very very well done. Travelled 20 minutes there and 20 minutes home!
