Gluten free cod and chips, homemade fishcake, mushy peas... It was really fresh and crispy. The fishcake is flavourful, thin crusted, a hidden gem and huge £2.50?! I thought I'd get something half the size Also from the packaging you can tell Mo cares about his food and is not wastesful - thick paper bags to make it breathable but keep heat in vs using cardboard boxes. I tried to order on Deliveroo once but didn't see the GF option so gave up. Calling to order and then collect is a breeze. On street parking is not bad using Cul de sac nearby if the road outside's busy
My first time trying Moe’s which I ordered using home delivery after reading several recommendations on our Neighbourhood app. Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Can highly recommend for a perfect Cod n chips. Enjoyable onion rings that you can bite into and eat properly without getting the usual string of onion on the first bite. Lovely Panko prawns. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you Moe !
I Cannot believe how i have just been treated by the Owner Having been a regular customer for many years as i live nearby i am disgusted as i have just been shouted at by the owner I called in advance to place my order and was told 10 mins, on arrival i waited outside for sometime as i had my dog with me, after a while i popped my head in the door holding my Dog in my arms so she didn't enter the Shopjust to let the lady know that i had phoned ahead & was waiting outside, but while i was trying to say this the owner went absolutely ballistic and shouting at me, therefore i went back out. The lovely young lady that was serving came out to me & i asked why he started shouting at me as i didn't enter the shop with my Dog and she apologised, i said it wasn't her fault & paid While walking back from the shop another customer commented on the situation to me and he himself couldn't understand why i was shouted at and treated in this manner When i got home i couldn't eat my food due to feeling so annoyed having been shouted at in front of other Customers and on reflection shouldn't have gone ahead and taken the order I am well aware of Health & safety & Hygiene and not allowing animals into places to eat I have done this on many occasions before and it has never been a problem with other staff Both Myself & Husband will not be using this place again as i have never been shouted at & made to feel so humiliated collecting a food order
Normally use Mo's but went this evening about 5.30 , had to give my order to a young lad outside, was then called in to collect my order, the guy on the till was very abrupt, I've got slight hearing issues, and 3 people were all talking about orders and do I want vinegar?, I didn't catch what the big guy on the till said, I just asked to confirm my order, you would of thought I'd asked for all the money out of the till, it seemed to be too much for him. Got home food was piping hot, but not normal standards, lots of crunchy scraps of chips, the sausage in batter my son had looked like it had lost most of its batter, and my cod was like cardboard over cooked and not very nice probably because it was so thin, never had this problem here before, went out of my way to go here, but won't be going back, I will spend my £17 elsewhere.
Excellent. One of the best fish I've ever had. I have travelled across all coastal towns in England, as far as Hastings, Blackpool and North Devon. This is superb in taste and quality. Mo's Fish & Chips of Orpington is on par with Britain's finest Fish & Chip restaurants such as Squires of Braunton in North Devon and Maggie's of Hastings in East Sussex.
Delicous fish, cooked to order. Good price compared to other Fish and Chip shops in the area. I'd use again any day.

Fantastic service. Such lovely people and very helpful. Even timed the cooking of the fish & chips for our arrival. And the gluten free fish & chips are absolutely delicious, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and they are really careful not to cross contaminate. Can't praise this shop enough! Full five stars.
Excellent cod and chips. They are well organised with ordering and the shop is always very clean.
The fact I can actually get gluten free fish and chips is fantastic. The oil they use is really clean and the fish and chips both crispy. Partner loved hers and challenged to find anything better even down by the coast. Cater to dietary requirements so more places should follow their lead. Top stuff!
