Traditional Fish and Chip shop, with lot of other savoury treats on the menu. I dined in and had a delicous fish and chip. Generous portions. Very helpful and friendly staff. Just magic.
The food is terrible. The issue is that it was SO good 2/3 years ago. The place was packed which I don’t blame the place for the fish was so bland I could taste my own mouth better than it and the chips were dry and overcooked, they were as hard as a brick half of the time. Not to mention that the entire meal was under seasoned with salt and vinegar, is there a tax on each grain of salt and squirt of vinegar now? I used to love coming here, sitting in, getting a huge fish and deliciously crunchy chips, but now- it’s some tourist trap with extortionate prices. When I went in I thought I was in rural Texas with all the great big fat people. Maybe there would be room if they went somewhere with edible food. Come on Beaties, up your game. Make me and your customers love your food again and for heavens sake add more salt and vinegar!

So far the best chipper in Belfast...so far...kebab shop up the road ain't bad either ..and that garage...apart from scary hoose is perfect

Was hungry and got a couple of pasties from this chip shop. Food was alright but not like the savory ones I remember from living here a few years ago. My Cousin had a fish supper and said it was very ordinary plus not too tasty. All the best Folks. Happy travels and have a Great week.
Fish and chips were first class. Served with a generous dip of choice with a large diet coke for under £10. I asked for mushy peas and the helping was generous for I think around £1.30. I ate all at bench seating which was good and clean with well stocked condiments. This place is a well run old school chippy and all the better for it. Five star!
Lovely local take away. Great food reasonably priced. Friendly service.

Great old school chippy with a surprising amount of seating. Prices are reasonable too. Good chips.
